Dr. Black is a 1992 graduate of U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. For over 20 years, he has been providing on-site optometric care in several hundred nursing homes throughout California. In addition, he provides care for patients in Advanced Eyecare's office-based practice located in Glendale.
Dr. Black is an active member of both the American Optometric Association and the California Optometric Association, and has served his local optometric society as both secretary and membership chair.Dr. Turetsky is a 1981 graduate of U.C. Berkeley School of Optometry. He has extensive experience in multiple site clinical quality management.

For those patients that require eyeglasses, we bring a wide variety of frames from which to choose. Appropriate measurements are taken to ensure the best visual function for the patient.

On a scheduled visit, a small room within the facility is converted into an exam room. Our optometrists work together with an assistant, who helps to bring the patients to the room for testing and return them to their prior activity when they are finished. Every effort is made to minimize the wait time for each resident.
I want to thank you for your outstanding care of my mother. She had been depressed lately and wasn't interested in participating in any activities. She had also stopped reading, something she used to love to do. Since she got her new glasses, she's playing bingo again and reading the bible every night.
