Ba Sa is the sister restaurant to Pho T&N located in Poulsbo, Washington. Pho T&N opened in 2005 and fulfilled a lifelong dream for Rang Nguyen and Huyen Tran who arrived in Washington in 1998 after a long and complicated journey from Vietnam. From selling fresh-made banh mi and butchering pigs in refugee camps to cooking in various kitchens throughout the Seattle area, food has always been a form of expression and connection for the couple.
In the spring of 2018, the Nguyen children began running Pho T&N and continue to honor their parents by providing guests with great food and welcoming hospitality. Ba Sa is a restaurant envisioned by the second generation of the Nguyen family. Siblings Trinh and Thai have created a menu that showcases traditional Vietnamese dishes inspired by French techniques and the abundance of products found in the Pacific Northwest.

Went for a weekday solo lunch- It seems that they ask for your info (name & #) regardless of whether or not you need to wait for a table. My server Emma was very kind & prompt. I got egg rolls, crispy duck with tomato rice (pictured), & their hot toddy - all delicious! Crispy duck dish was pretty salty but I expected as much since it’s duck, + the sauce. Will go again if I’m ever in the area!

There is nothing quite like ordering meals family style to share and walking away extremely satisfied with everything that was served. We were on a mission to try out Ba Sa since it was on our list for years. We finally made it to Bainbridge Island and didn't have to make a reservation for our 12:30 pm meal.
Things we devoured:
- Sizzling Bo Ne: tender, fresh, medium rare and extremely flavorful with the butter, onions and okra. However there wasn't a hint of lemongrass that I could taste, which I was rather disappointed about.

One of the better restaurants I have been to. Everything was extremely delicious. The steak was cooked perfectly. The tempura shrimp in Chili Oil Prawn Noodle was crispy and the noodle was al dente.To our pleasant surprise Crispy Soft Shell Crab Xa Lach was a whole crab! SO soft and flavourful inside and crispy outside. Everything was a flavour-bomb! HIGHLY RECOMMEND! Cannot wait to go back there!

Happily surprised.
I was visiting some friends who moved to the Island a few years ago and when I said I was famished they said you have to try this new place that open downtown.
Wow where they right. We sat down at the peak of the lunch rush so we ended seated at the bar which was just fine with me.
We ordered an arrange of items so I could get the full experience. This small plates arrived one at a time as they were ready and boy was I happily surprised.
Everything was so delicious. If you find yourself visiting Bainbridge I’d highly recommend.

Having lunch here was the highlight of my day! The service was amazing, mostly because they were so attentive and it didn’t feel rushed. We sat in the patio, which was so cute. I had the best margarita in all of Washington. The salmon plate and pho were so delicious, not to mention the calamari, oh my goodness, so so good!! We seriously cannot wait to visit again, someday can’t come soon enough!!

This Asian fusion place is delightful. Menu full of delicious Asian food with a twist! If you are looking for a typical Asian restaurant, this is NOT your place and that is okay! Fusion restaurants are not for everyone. The prices fit the quality and quantity of food.
The parking can be both limiting and plentiful. There is street parking and if that is full, then there are a bunch of nearby public parking lots.
They offer both indoor and outdoor'ish seating. Outdoor'ish because you are not inside the main building, but not quite outside either

This place was such a pleasure to come to. The food was amazingly fresh and soooo tasty. The food also felt light and healthy so I wasn’t disgustingly full. We ordered their mule as a drink which was also really good. The restaurant itself is located on Bainbridge island and was very cute and clean. I’d def recommend visiting when you can and ordering EVERYTHING on the menu.

I’m almost crying, that was such a wonderful experience. Beautiful service (from the owner herself-Trinh-helping out because they were short staffed), delectable food and drinks. They make most ingredients in-house, and there is quality and passion infused into every bite. Best nuoc cham I’ve ever had by far. Mussels arrived 2 hours before we did, talk about fresh. Ube panna cotta had all the flavors of childhood reminiscence but was elevated to fine dining presentation and texture. We will be coming back for sure.

Their sizzling shrimp and butter beef are so great that we took the ferry just for them! We came back during the July 4th weekend and the sizzling shrimp was unfortunately not on the menu for the day. The staff was super friendly and worked with the kitchen to make an exception for us. Super impressed with their customer service and top notched food. Will definitely be back over and over again.
