Service was a disaster, place an order from doordash approximately 16:30 hours. The order said it would be ready at 16:49 hours of which I left my place and walked to the restaurant arriving at approximately 1653 hours. There was nobody at the front and the woman that came in after me went back to find somebody. Of which that person came out to ask us how she can help and clarified that we were all doordash orders, but never provided us our food the woman that came in after me walked out. And my food was less sitting getting cold on the counter while it was already done. The food May taste okay

I made a reservation for 8 pm, Sunday for 5 of us, after seeing PNB Nutcracker. When we arrived, the hostess told us that they cannot have guests since the cook hurt her back. She was standing in a corner of the restaurant. The Open sign was still up, and there was another party behind us hoping to get a table. Looked like they were only doing carryout, no guests at tables. We should have been contacted earlier. Will never go back. Very poor customer service.

Came for lunch right around open and the food came out in about 15 minutes. Staff was friendly and greeted us at the door. The prices were pretty fair for the size. We probably could have split an entree and an appetizer between the two of us. The orange chicken and the traditional pad Tai were both really good

Highly recommended this Thai restaurant for lunch. Various choices and great price. Love their pad Thai and was one of the best I have. I am not too sure why this place wasn’t busy at all but I tried it, was highly recommended food place. Lunch menu was the best and great customer service and clean environment.

The place served really authentic Thai food. Loved every dish and the service was really fast.
Do try their crispy garlic chicken, which is an absolute bomb.
I tried and would definitely recommend YakiSoba, Pad Kee Mao, Pineapple curry and chicken satay.
The place was clean and had a nice calm vibe to it.

Hey you guys. Why is the crispy garlic chicken here so salty? I was coming here like twice a week but that garlic chicken is like kidney shutdown territory. I mean it's gone from delicious to un edible. Everybody thinks so. The rest of the menu is wonderful however I can't order anything if your crispy garlic chicken is too painful to eat. So I've moved down the street. To the other Thai restaurant. Not that one, the other one. Not that one either. Same street but like the third one down the street. Other direction. Those that way don't have crispy garlic chicken.

I'd say a 3.5 for overall experience but I'll round up for flavor.
We ordered pad thai, red curry with tofu & chicken satay. The pad Thai was okay, nothing to write home about and a little sweet. The red curry had good flavor but we asked for it spicy and it came very mild. There's also way too many bamboo shoots in it compared to peppers. The chicken satay was pretty good, nothing special but flavorful and the peanut sauce was good. The star of that show was the tiny cucumber salad they give you with it, SO good!
We asked for some chili on the side and they didn't put

Terrible experience. We ordered shrimp pad Thai and we literally received 2 shrimp carcasses with a little meat in the tails. We’re expected to take apart the shrimp ourselves? THE SHRIMP HAD THEIR EYES STILL ON…First time experiencing that. Will never return and I recommend you don’t either. When I called to discuss this the woman said she was too busy and hung up on me.

I’ve frequented this restaurant many times in the past, but it’s always been taken “to go”. This trip, I decided to dine in. As usual, the food was delicious. I chose the red curry with tofu this time. It was so good, I came back and ordered the same dish the next day. I will say I noticed a huge difference in service the second day. The server was very attentive and friendly the first day. I guess she was off the day of my second visit. Our server was seemingly distracted even though there were very few patrons at the time. Even so, the food more than makes up for any server issues. This

Came here as was staying at the Pineapple hotel and saw this spot right across the street. Walked in and didn't realize it was closed, but owner / manager was kind enough to seat us and serve us. Ordered standard dishes - noodles, chicken satay, and tried a salmon special. All food was pretty flavorful and made to order. Service was solid and would recommend if you are in Queen Anne area. Pretty standard Thai fare which was reasonably priced.

The food was amazing! and the price was very reasonable! We got two appetizers, two entrees and some rice for ~50 dollars! The food was enough for our party of three :))
Fish cakes 7/10 (sauce was 10/10)
Noodles with chicken 11/10 (on the spicier side)
Crispy chicken 9/10
Wings 8.5/10 (a bit dry but really good still!)

Came here the other day in search of some food to soak up a mild hangover :) in all honesty, I meant to go to Pho Viet Anh down the street, but had a rude awakening when I found that the door was locked and they've moved to Belltown! I knew they were moving but had no idea it would be so soon (cue tragic violin music). You heard it here first, look up their new location before you make the same mistake I did!
Anyways, I had always wanted to try Basilic Essentially Thai so in I went. Upon arriving, I was surprised by how spacious it was inside. There

The food is really good. We ordered pineapple fried rice, beef pad thai, chicken pad thai, pork larb, squid and another noodle plate that I forgot the name but it had seafood with bean clear noodles. The thai tea is a little bit sweet but overall we love all of the food. They tasted fresh. I highly recommended this place if you want to try thai food.

I ordered the Cashew Nut chicken which was pretty good, but could have used some more spice and flavor (will try and order hot instead of medium next time). It was a strange time to be visiting the restaurant during COVID restrictions, but they had a decent socially distanced pick up arrangement for take out/deliveries, smooth customer service and a fairly quick turnaround time for the food. Also appreciated the proximity to the International Fountain at Seattle Center, which is a beautiful spot to set up a picnic. I'd go here again!

I had several opportunities to visit Basilic including few take out meals. While entry, interior, colorful decor and ambiance is okay, the food taste is simply okay. I have had Thai food at many local restaurants and have enjoyed intensely flavorful food.
Had several preparations including pannag curry, massamun curry, pad Thai noodles, pra Rama noodles, and over few visits and takeouts. I seem to find flavors but towards blend side. Addition of various chili sauces really doesn't enhance flavors, it simply makes it on the spicy side.

Treated myself over New Years to some Thai food - now that I live alone and can't go back to family for a traditional elegant New Years meal (cause covid situation). This was one of the many great choices I see in Doordash, and what was particularly appealing is the generous portions and not having to pay extra or order separately for rice.
I got the Papaya salad - Laos style which has crab as well as the panang curry with beef. The papaya salad gives great source of vegetables, enough for 2 which seems to be intended as it was an entree in itself. The lettuce on the side gives some padding

Overall rating 3.5/5
Orange chicken 1/5 small pieces of meat. VERY dry. Not great flavor
Fish cakes (flat patties not like the pics on here) 2/5 - weren't airy. Just flat spicy fish mush patty
Crab puffs 4/5 - crunchy and good flavor.
Garlic chicken 4/5 great flavor sauce. Didn't come with rice
Pad Thai 4/5 (didn't come with any lime. I usually order extra)
Ordered from door dash. Great menu for gluten free and vegetarian. Items are hit or miss. Has great sauces! Didn't receive my side of rice for garlic chicken. Salad wraps were good. Would return for certain items.

I was craving the traditional Pad Thai and some panang curry. Here is my review per each item:
Pad Thai: 4.5 star!! You definitely have to try the pad Thai at basilic - I got mine with tofu and the tofu was cooked perfectly. The reason I docked a bit is because it was a little too on the sweet side but that's because I like my spice
Panang Curry: 3.5 The flavor was good and right but the curry itself felt very watery. I wish it was little thicker. My curry also had very little vegetable which is always a disappointment. I got my curry with chicken.

So I was craving for Thai food this place is near my work so decided to give it a try. I got one of the lunch special, which was supposed to come with pad Thai, rice and the entree. I got the crying tiger.
When I arrive to pick up my order, my receipt says bbq beef which I was confused. Cause the crying tiger was advertised as steak and I got it as medium well. The lady assured me that it's the same thing so I didn't bother checking. I also asked for substitute rice for veggies and that wasn't done either.
When I finally opened my dish, I saw a salad with stir fry beef that was

4 stars for take-out!
Though we can't dine-in right now, I support a local business each week; I walked by Basilic and decided to give it a try. The gluten-free traditional pad thai (my go-to) and shrimp fresh rolls were tasty! The pad Thai sauce had flavor and wasn't too heavy. I got fancy and had a lobster tail as my protein - a little salty but tasty. My partner enjoyed his ribs appetizer and noodle dish. The two things that would take it up a notch: adding veggies in my noodles (it was a little boring) and asking for some spice.
I'll definitely order from Basilic again!

I’m a lil picky with thai food but this was all so good! A big group of us were just visiting Seattle and googled a thai place near by. They put a large table together (10 people) very quickly. We ordered a few items and shared. This was a gem to find and it was extremely affordable.
We ordered chicken satay, spring rolls, spicy papaya salad, chicken pad thai and pad see lew. (Although I recommend the pad kee mao over the pad see lew as it had more flavor and veg).

Ok Thai restaurant in lower Queen Anne. Beautiful Restaurant. Food was average, service was less than average.
Sorry to say! I really looked forward to trying this place with all the excellent reviews. Unfortunately, it didn't measure up. Maybe it was an "off" day for them. Spice level was less than the numbers. We asked for 4, had to add quite a bit more at the table. Prawn Curry was fresh with 5 large prawns, that was good. The pad thai wasn't fresh. The sweet and sour tofu was fresh. Service lacking. Clean, nice facility and restroom. Seems maybe they do more delivery than in house.
