L'Amour Nails is a classic nail salon located in Barton Creek Mall within 15 minutes of Lake Austin and the University of Texas. Our top priority is safety and sanitation. Please don’t put people that don’t have enough experience on the floor. I got my nails done, my birthday set by the older man and he had no idea what he was doing. My nails are horrible the sides are not all the way done I can still see my real nails. I could tell he had no idea what he was doing. People need more training my nails are horrible and they are filled down to much. Don’t get me wrong everyone in the shop is nice but I’m just really upset with my nails. I don’t know if he didn’t get enough training or what not. I will not be going back. Worst set I ever got

I walked in at 6:55 on Memorial Day and was done by 7:35. Lynn handled my basic $30 spa pedicure and did a wonderful job. No pain. Great leg and foot massage, even massaged my knees (didn’t know that was a thing, but it was great). Extremely thorough callous removal and hot towels were included. Massage chair was decent. Dividers were used between the chairs and employees were masked.
I think it was the owner that did my acrylic French tips ($35). Great placement. Even powder. No bubbles or chunks left under the nails.

Ok, here's the deal. I am pretty easy going about a less than stellar mani/pedi, but because I had the time, have wanted to get it, and was given a good sell, I agreed to try the brow and lash tint services. DON'T EVER DO IT!!!! I have dark hair, so ultimately the lashes were the biggest waste because it doesn't look like anything except like I cried with masacara on that won't come off. She got it on my cheek, my upper and lower lids, basically the everywhere except where it should be. TOTAL NIGHTMARE THAT I CANNOT WASH OFF MY EFFING FACE!!!! It burns and NOTHING will take

This was the second time I used this salon. The first time I was by myself and had I remembered this was the same place, I would have declined when my friends decided to go here. Both times they made my cuticles bleed. This time when we arrived, I told them I had to be done by 3:00, it was 2:00 when we arrived. I was only getting a basic pedicure and asked if they could be done by 3:00 and they assured me they could. So when my 3 friends and I sat in the chairs, I was surprised to find that each of them got someone to start right away while I was waiting for someone to be available. In the meantime

I visited Austin and wanted to get my nails done and although they look decent from a distance the quality definitely does’t match the price. They charged me $50 for a gel acrylic set. Back home with $50 I can get rhinestones or nail art for the same price and definitely much better quality. The coffin shape looked more of a stiletto and even worse my thumbs were too different lengths and shape. My nails ended up having small bumps and one had a small brush hair. He used a makeup powder brush to remove the dust. The place was a little crowded had to go all around to get to the sink. I must say

If you haven't been here lately, or if you've had a bad experience in the past, please consider trying again! They have new management and a new team and their customer service is phenomenal! They'll remember you and call you by name - they'll offer you a drink and make you feel at home. I've never had a bad experience by any of their team members and can personally recommend Tiffany or Vicky. Please give them a chance - you won't be sorry!!!

Terrible experience. The location is small, which is fine, but they try to get you in and out and still charge you exorbitant amounts for sub-par work performed in less amount of time than promised. (Note: If you ever go to salons, you know that 30 mins of foot massaging can do wonders. I paid for 30 mins and got 15). I will not be returning.

Worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon and I get my nails done every month. I usually go to one spot but decided to come here since i work at the mall. I walked in and the lady literally had to wake up the nail tech from a nap. There was no one else getting there nails done in there and I was the only customer. I showed them a picture of what I wanted and they guaranteed they could do it. When it came time to paint my nails they told me they didn’t have the color and could get it as close to the picture as possible- even after they told me they could do it. I had the worst experience at this nail salon. I thought it was convenient to get them done at the mall, but it was the worst manicure experience. I had acrylic nails on before, and I got them removed at this salon. The manicurist clearly realized I was in pain so she soaked my nails in acetone for at least 10 minutes. Even after that didn't work, she wouldn't stop trying to remove it until half of my real nail tore off and there was blood everywhere. Plus they overcharged me and didn't offer to fix my nail later. If i could give this place 0 stars i would. The guy that did my nails was so rude to me and wouldn't listen to how i wanted my nails shaped and did oval when I wanted coffin. Then he charged me $5 for long nails when I asked for short nails. They looked terrible so I came back and had someone else shape them better and she cracked my nail. Moral of the story there are way better nail places to go to.

They gave me one of the best pedis of my life! The salon is very clean and comfortable. They have big comfy massage chairs and tons of great colors. My tech was very sweet and helped explain the different services. The prices are inline with other spas but their service and cleanliness is way better.

I have come here like 5 times and I never was disappointed until today. They usually do a good job but this time around not as good. I had checked out the samples of flower designs and choose one I liked. The receptionist showed the nail technician the design and the flower she attempted to paint on my thumbs wasn't anything like what was shown and it looked really sloppy and not professional. I should have just had the French manicure with no design, wasn't worth the extra cost.
