We know that in southern Indiana, you have a number of choices for home health care. Ohio Valley Home Health is your best choice for that care, providing the same level of care and comfort we would provide to our own families. A patient receiving care in his or her own home benefits greatly from a relationship with their caregiver.

So unlike other agencies who may send a different caregiver for each visit, we've built a continuity of care, where each patient has one primary caregiver, with one or two caregivers assigned as backup only for days off and so on. Our rate of turnover is one of the lowest in the industry.
Services
Empty hours that pass so slowly. Health care needs that increase every year. Worry for a parent's well-being as they age. They can be a heavy burden. Your parent deserves in-home care and companionship you can trust when you can't be there. As a home health trailblazer, Ohio Valley Home Health & Home Care brings decades of knowledge and experience right into your parent's home.
As a home health pioneer with three decades of leadership, Ohio Valley Home Health & Home Care maintains the highest standards for regulatory compliance and works diligently to safeguard against fraud, waste and abuse in our industry. It all begins and ends with people. We convey clear standards and expectations to all team members, with periodic, mandatory compliance training for all.
People often think home health and home care are the same thing. Many agencies use the terms interchangeably, depending on the state they are in. The terms sound similar and both types of care are delivered in the home. But there are important differences between home care and home health care. Knowing the differences can help you decide which type of care is right for your needs and budget.
More than one in three Americans is caring for a family member with health care challenges. The experience is often overwhelming for the entire family - especially if you don't have access to answers and support. Your responses to our Home Health Assessment question below will help us understand the risk factors for your loved one and whether home health care may be able to help.
The old saying is true: there really is no place like home. The comfort that comes from spending each day in familiar surroundings contributes greatly to a person's mental and physical well-being. But when a person can't do all of the daily tasks that come with living at home, that well-being can begin to suffer.

It takes weeks to get a regular schedule. Your mileage is part of your pay. you may work a 8-hour day but only get paid for six because the other two hours was driving time and you only get paid for your mileage on that. if you do not stay with them for a year and you decide to give your notice or just quit they will take half your paycheck to pay back for background check physical and so on.
