Jacki Sorensen created the world's first aerobic dancing program more than 40 years ago, and Jacki Sorensen's Fitness Classes continue to be at the forefront of fun fitness for all ages. Her Get-It-All-Together approach offers everything you need for a complete head-to-toe workout with maximum results.
We monitor your heartrate throughout class so you derive the most benefit during each hour long class! Learn how to find your Resting Heartrate to determine your individual Working Heartrate range. This insures you're getting a safe and effective workout. We take a Recovery Heartrate after the cooldown and advise you how to adjust your participation level for the next class.
VERTIFIRM revolutionized the fitness industry over 20 years ago! VERTFIRM means vertical firmness and is a group of choreographed combinations replacing spot exercises traditionally done on the floor. These "standing up floor exercises" provide the benefit of floorwork, but because you are on your feet it is possible to work on more than one muscle group at a time.
YES, you will fit in! A Jacki's Fitness class is for all ages, shapes and sizes of people. Everyone works at their own individual pace. Call your Jacki's instructor ahead of time and she will give you an idea of what to expect so you feel comfortable. Come a few minutes early and meet arriving Jacki's students who will make you feel welcome!
