I'm disappointed in leaving this less than stellar review.
I was quickly scheduled for an appointment, after verifying insurance as community health of Washington. Today, after coming here and filling out forms and waiting to be seen, I was told my insurance covers the exam, but not the glasses.
While asking questions, I was told that yes there is some coverage but not much and most clinics don't accept chwp because it is difficult.
This bothers me for two reasons, one wasting everyone's time, two "most clinics won't accept the insurance" I have because it is difficult to process.

I've been going to Arvue for a few years now, and it's been great. Those who work there tend to be on the younger side, but they are very competent and attentive professionals. I'm a typical monolingual American, so their accents took a moment to get used to, but that was no barrier because they do speak English well and clearly care about service. The more I go, the more I appreciate Arvue.

Had a great exam today. Went in at 4:40 and expected to have to wait since it was so close to when they close for the day. Instead i was seen promptly. The receptionist was clear with what my insurance covered and I didn't get pressured into buying anything besides my exam. The doctor was also great. Did not seem tired despite it being the end of the day and was happy to answer questions about my eye health

Dr. Dinh and her staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were transparent on their prices and costs. I didn't feel high pressure to buy anything, but their customer service was convincing to help support their business. My husband and I ended up buy our new glasses from them. It's also great that they are so close to our house and we can support our neighborhood eye doctor.

Dr Dinh is fantastic, and her customer orientation is impeccable. The staff taking appointments is courteous. I cannot say that for a lot of eye care businesses in Seattle. There were no issues with insurance and no unnecessary online bookings. Covid precautions were in place. This is a gem of an eye care.
