Dr. Steiner received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from Cornell University before completing medical and surgical internship and ophthalmology residency and sub-specialty training in oculoplastic surgery. His practice has attracted many seeking improvement in the appearance of their eyelids, as well as victims of eye injuries, and those who have already had eyelid procedures are seeking improvement of the results.
Dr. Steiner is an expert in the care of common injuries to the eyes. Whether these injuries occur at home or at work, rapid pain relief and restored vision are our concerns. We reserve time in our daily schedule for those requiring urgent care. The annual examination of your eye health by an "Eye M.D." provides you with the confidence that you have been examined by a real medical doctor.

Heredity and sun exposure also contribute to this process. This excess, puffy or lax skin can make you appear more tired or older than you are.
Training for an oculoplastic surgeon begins after medical school with general surgical internship, followed by a three year residency in ophthalmology; where extremely meticulous microscopic surgery in and around the eyes requires measurements in half-millimeter increments and sutures as fine as half the thickness of a hair.

Dr. Steiner and his staff are first rate when it comes to professionalism, knowledge, and patient care. I’ve gone the whole route with Dr. Steiner, from glasses, to contacts, to cataract surgery and aftercare. I was confident every step of the way that what was recommended or prescribed was the best for my situation.

Dr. Steiner has 30 years experience in opthalmology and he specializes in cosmetic eyelid surgery. Dr Steiner and his staff are absolutely fantastic. I could not be more happy about the job they did on my eyelids. They took great care of me and made sure this entire process was as comfortable as possible. I highly recommend Dr Steiner if you need eyelid surgery or eye care. I look much younger. Excellent work and thank you.

Dr. Steiner is the BEST!! I went into his office almost blind, after many years of trying with other doctors with glasses and contact lenses that NEVER worked! Dr Steiner was the first one to take the time to figure out how monovision can work for me. Now I can see great faraway and I see great close up for comupter. I have recommended him to my family and friends to go to see this doctor.

Dr. Steiner is the most qualified, educated and fabulous ophthalmologist. He is the only eye doctor I will go to from now on, period.
I had my cataract surgery done by a different doctor. Afterwards, my right eye was constantly tearing. This doctor had to refer me to another eye doctor in valley hospital and they told me I needed another surgery! I was terrified!
Luckily, I met Dr Steiner, whom was highly recommended by my coworker. I went in for a second opinion. Dr Steiner spent a good 45 mins with me and explained everything. Afterwards, he wrote down a prescription eyedrop for me to try out

Dr. Steiner and his entire team are absolutely wonderful to work with. I am completely happy with the results of my upper and lower eyelid surgery.The surgery went really well. so appreciated the support and professionalism that he and his staff offered throughout the experience. I needed to see an ophthalmologist fast since I thought I may have torn my cornea and although, they had a busy schedule, his office made time for me.
Once I was there, the staff were great and polite as was Dr. Steiner. It turns out, I only had a piece of contact lenses stuck on my eye. We talked about contact lenses and he recommended lenses for my case. He treated me well and with respect and gave me needed samples.
My only regret is that I didn't correct him when he said I should visit him soon as I was visiting out of state. I am a socially awkward personC so sorry Doc!

My family and I have been going to Dr. Steiner for many years now and continue to do so for his expertise, kindness, and service. His new office facilities are immaculate, he and his staff are welcoming, and most importantly we know we are going to the best eye doctor.
