This family owned company is outstanding. We were renting a house for the past 6 years and was notified by our management company that the owner wanted to sell it because the market was hot. Nikki helped us for at least a month trying to find a new home but we were unsuccessful due to being outbid on several homes. Our management company which is a realtor came to us and offered to sell the house we were living in for the past 6 years to us. I rented from this family for my son for the past 7 years. I am not going to sugar coat my relationship with HR Realty. I wish I can think of any negative experience or any issues during the time of rentals. I always was treated with ABSOLUTE KINDNESS and they went out of their way to make sure that all the repairs, or any matters were handled accordingly. DO NOT RENT OR BUY FROM THEM. These people have no soul. It may seem like you're getting a good deal, but they will charge you for everything possible. 7 years of on time rent and we moved after finally buying our own home . You would think they'd congratulate us,all they did was charge us $3,800 in "damages". Theynever fixed anything right and would just lie back and forth about any issue you brought up to them. They will charge you for anything that their lil fine writing in a lease can charge.

HD Realty was in charge of my rental home in Longwood for the past 3 to 4 years. Within the past few months, our tenants skipped town and completely trashed our house. We needed new paint, new carpets, new outlet covers, a new window, new locks, new doors, new screens, new shower heads, new mirrors, new light fixtures, etc. They left tons of furniture and garbage all over the house. The house smelled of dog and smoke. There were holes punched in numerous walls. HD Realty hired a construction company to handle all of this. The security deposit plus more of my money went towards paying this construction

What a purely horrid company todo work with. STAY AWAY. I rented a property threw HD for 4 years. (Canterbury circle if you want to play the "you never rented a property game") I asked all the time if they could speak to the owners and have something done with the insulation in the attic. The house was 85-87 degrees and electric bill was 400-500 dollars every month and i wasnt making alot at the time. But nothing would come of it. It would be the same story as everything that broke in that house. Its not the house from the 70s breaking from general use. they just dont care. Its a game of money

I moved into a Duplex in Lake Mary last year, and my experience with this company was rather positive from move-in to move-out. I only had one maintenance issue with the AC and they were rather timely.
The house, (which could use some updating) was decent, and for the most part I enjoyed living there. Jason Anderson is a pretty cool guy, we talked for a bit before I moved out.

Never had such rude unprofessional service by a company PLEASE RUN. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt regardless of bad reviews, they are there for a reason! Unprofessional contractors and overall horrible business. No morality or values and they think it’s okay to rent a moldly falling ceiling and replace a new ceiling a few inches under so you don’t see the cosmetic issues. Tells me it’s fine and fixed nothing with an infant under 2! RUN AND RUN FAST! Anyone BUT HD Realty!

Not a reputable company. As an owner, avoid this property management company at all costs. My account was transferred between four property managers within one year without my knowledge. I asked for the property manager to keep me informed as to a tenant's move out and what they were charging her for since I did a walkthrough close to the end of… the lease and the notice was sent without my review or consent. Have lived in a home for a year now and some big issues are not addressed by the company, the home owner and HD Realty have not responded. Currently living in black mold and an insect issue that needs an exterminator due to a large whole in the wall behind the oven that was never addressed in the year that I lived in one of the residences. Have taken care of home as if it is my own and not complained and can't seem to get major issues even addressed in an email response back. Sad that society can treat fellow mankind this way, especially three females that work in the public school system

Not professional! Was told only taking 2 applications, that is why the money had to be collected. Friday application was done, credit was hit IMMEDIATELY! No call Monday, Tuesday Afternoon at 5:00pm, I called Megan and asked Why, I was told a few more applications had come in and they chose someone else. Fine At LEAST COMMUNICATE? She said she wanted to tell me about some other rentals that they had, I inquired and she said that I would have to go to the website to see them???? Really? AVOID AT ALL COSTS. HD leased us a town home ILLEGALLY without the HOA consent. I have three animals which were approved on my leasing application (the whole reason we signed the lease) and 3 days after we move in the HOA tells us they have a 1 pet policy and we are illegal tenants in the home, because they never approved us.
