This small unique little gem of a place was so adorable. The industrial look of the room was refreshing and modern. The rainfall shower was great. The "fireplace" is more for show BUT you do get a "jelly fish flame" can (when you check in) that you can light and place in between the logs for a nice cozy aesthetic if you chose to use it. Robes, towels, and the usual bathroom essentials provided. Room does have A/C-Heat-Fan, free WiFi, TV and tiny mini fridge that's more of a freezer as it gets that cold so be careful. Literally a short walk to the beach/aquarium. Bikes provided as well but personally

Upon arrival and check-in at 4pm, we saw that our room was right next to an already intoxicated, loud group of individuals who were partying on the balcony the entire time we were there. Some, I do not think were even staying at the hotel. Any time we would come or go from our room, they would heckle us. At 10 pm, shortly after we fell asleep, the group was still loud and partying on the balcony. They were not told to be quiet or go into their rooms at 9 pm (quiet hours are supposedly 9-9, but this was not enforced by the hotel). They were allowed to disrupt the safety and peace of the entire

I only dislike it because it is not what I was expecting; should've done more research. Concrete floors, exposed wood bed frames, and light fixtures that remind me of an unfinished garage. I think calling it a "motel" or "inn" might be a little more accurate in my mind; "hotel" makes me think of something a bit nicer. Some might like the unique aesthetic though. The rooms are very contemporary with an industrial flair, kind of reminds me of an ocean boardwalk environment. A small mini fridge, tv, and small window-style AC unit are provided. There is one community microwave for the facility. The

I love the vibe and location and the staff (especially Nicole) were knowledgeable and friendly. The rooms are industrial which is totes my vibe plus I hate carpet in hotels near water as I always feel like it is damp or make the room musty… my friend prefers carpet because she hates cold floors so you may want to keep that in mind. Having said that there is nothing else cold about this place. Robes, outdoor fire pits and a heated pool… SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY!!! Will 100% be back!

Pretty miserable experience at Ashore. Was quite disappointed. Looked forward to use the pool. Closed early. Looked forward to a hot shower. No ventilation and steamed up the entire room. Looks like a fireplace is in the room. It's fake. One night at most here if you must stay.

No ocean views? Who cares when you have clean updated and tastefully remodeled rooms just mere steps from the boardwalk with excellent amenities such as free beach cruisers to peddle up and down the boardwalk and picturesque beach neighborhoods with or soak it up in their heated and I mean heated to 98 degree or so indoor pool. The very warm pool makes up for the lack of hot tub. Such an awesome location! Just steps away from EVERYTHING!

Great stay. Rooms are simple and very clean! I like the industrial and wood theme. Very eclectic. Heated pool was great for my son and I. Such a small hotel that even when busy it is not an issue. Staff was friendly and helpful. No parking issues as each room gets a spot. Beds were actually comfortable which I typically don't find in hotels often. They have great options on-site. It's literally a 2 minute easy walk to the beach and to the boardwalk with shops and food and more. I absolutely loved it. I will stay here again. The price was also very comparable to others.

Excellent stay. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms were clean. Very close to Cannon Beach, Ecola Park and a block away from the beach at Season and a short walk to the local Seaside restaurants. There are lots of great amenities and they are very dog friendly. We stayed 3 nights at this hotel. I love that they repurposed an old motel into a modern/comfortable space that is clean and affordable. Excellent food, we had breakfast here one day, and we had the charcuterie one evening and both experiences were fantastic. they offer a lot of food options for having a modestly sized kitchen

Awful customer service. I decided yesterday afternoon to postpone my drive to San Francisco due to the smoke and air quality in Oregon. I canceled at this same hotel two weeks ago, and had until 6 PM two days before my trip to cancel and get a refund. I logged on at 3:05 PM to cancel, and found that the deadline had been moved to 3 PM and I had missed it by minutes. I called the hotel multiple times to try to transfer my reservation to next week (or just get a refund) - they were very rude to me and told me there was nothing they could do for me since I booked through a third party website (hotels

Only stayed one night as we passed thru Seaside, very happy I chose this hotel. Decent amenities on site for the price- Free wifi, free parking, cute outdoor firepit, small heated pool & sauna, & bar/ coffee shop. Also loved the in room extra touches- mini fridge, bathrobes, & delicious smelling toiletries. Bed was comfy, shower was super hot & spacious and room was pretty quiet despite the hotel being pretty booked

Clean newly renovated simple, no frills. I do love how they have loaner bikes for guests to use along with beer and wine not to forget a small menu all In the lobby, Salt water pool. A bit spendy for what it is. No views, a block off the beach but everything is with in walking distance right there down town ...

It's hard to find a place great for a toddler and hipster too... My 3 old cried when we left she wanted to stay.

Highlights: salt pool (super warm -we were there during a horrible cold Gale Storm, the water was so cozy), board games, nice toiletries, free tea and coffee, sauna, access to all attractions and having a room with bunk beds. The staff was helpful (let us use their plates when the take out forgot them). Overall we'd go back again!

Caveat (I don't know all the Oregon coastal towns) but the town is a little 1950's carnival carny vibe- not as "hip" as Astoria

We were so happy with our stay at Ashore! We really enjoyed the clean room, especially the comfy beds. The kids had a bunk bed which is always fun to stay in. The room was beautiful and I really liked the eco friendly beauty products (soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion). I also appreciated having a recycle bin next to the garbage bin.

The kids also enjoyed splashing in the pool! There is a sauna as well. We grabbed a cup of coffee from the welcoming lobby in the morning before we headed out. The location is superb as it is so close to the boardwalk and beach!

I booked a stay here for my wife and two kids. My wife and I both love minimalism and the urban design of Ashore. The amenities were spot on for a hotel at this price point. The staff was pleasant and quick to answer any questions that I had.

The Hotel exterior: Ashore looks like your typical beach motel with pops of color for every door. The exterior is weathered but welcoming. The parking lot is basic but provides ample space while being a block off the main drag in Seaside. The outdoor gas fire pit with benches is great for sitting by with a book on a cool morning.

I love them, too, and give them 5 stars for a hotel-motel experience (not luxury hotel standards.)

Pros: The rooms/premises are always clean, the staff pleasant, present and pay attention so you dont have to worry about theft-vandalism. They have food on-site to order, free coffee-tea-lemon water, are just a block from Broadway (and dozens of food choices), and the beach, have plenty of hot water, are extremely pet friendly, and have games, free bikes and DVDs, plus a fire pit, heated pool and sauna.

Cons: My mattress a bit on the firm side (I prefer softer), small fridge (also a pro), common

When checking in to a room as a single reservation handing the guest two keys, or not inquiring how many keys a person might want, is an odd hospitality choice. Perhaps the person checking me in was having a bad day but it almost felt personal. To be completely honest, if I was a walk-in guest I would have walked to a different property. At a $200+ price point, without an ocean view, the basics should be elevated to compensate for what you can't offer the guest. I could have paid less and had a view of the ocean and would likely have felt a bit more welcome.

There are several amenities the

I've been to Seaside many times growing up and this is by far the best hotel I've stayed at. Based off the good reviews, I decided to book a one-night stay for hubby and me and our two dogs. They are so dog-friendly! They had bowls of water everywhere, a bin of dog toys, and complimentary dog treats. The pricing was relatively less than a lot of the other (older) hotels around us, and the location was perfect - literally steps away from the beach and a bunch of restaurants and Main Street.

I'm huge on interior decor and loved everything about the look of our room. Whoever decorated

We wanted a weekend getaway to just relax and do nothing. We travel a lot but also plan so much stuff that it becomes stressful. This was PERFECT, we did nothing besides walk around and relax and it was awesome. We loved how close everything was! We didn't use our car the entire weekend. 3 min walk to restaurants and beach and all the little shops. When booking, I didn't realize we were ON the strip of shops at seaside. Staff was super and nice and helpful and we loved that there was a DVD player, as we watched movies and relaxed all day. Also, my boyfriend had payed for the romantic

This is a cute boutique/hip hotel. I love the soaps/lotions and the rain shower as well as the oh so comfortable bed! I stayed here earlier in the week while taking a road trip up the coast and enjoyed it so much I had to come back to end my trip.

The staff are friendly, it's in a great location and the options for hotel food are quite good. I recommend the cheese plate.

Pool is saline and heated. The pool room was warm. There's a sauna and a shower. Towels were provided. We took down our bath robes to walk back to the room with. You can't have drinks in the pool room, but they do have a bar edge on the outside where you can have a drink.

Rooms: A fireplace is in every room. My room also had a fridge. The room was big and clean. Loved the look and smell of wood. The king size bed was comfortable and the pillows were heavenly.

I'm just now getting around to writing this review but my boyfriend and I stayed at Ashore in September for our 7 year anniversary. I'm super picky about the hotels I stay at and will literally do hours of research until I find one that I'm happy with. Especially for such a special occasion. When I stumbled upon the Ashore hotel, I knew I had found my new go to Seaside hotel. We booked and paid in advance to save a little extra money.

When we arrived at our hotel, we noticed that it was just steps away from the beach. We loved that it was in such a great location that we could

So glad we chose the Ashore hotel! The location is perfect, and the rooms were pretty spacious. The decor is very modern and the rooms were clean. They were a bit dark, though, but that's ok. Ashore was also very dog friendly which was perfect! There were hoses to rinse off our pup before going into the room, and they also provided doggy towels, treats, and a bandana. Ashore also had a good selection of wine and beer, and some good coffee/espresso.

I would definitely recommend this hotel, and would stay there again. My only complaint is that we could hear all the footsteps of the people in
