Only one electrical outlet by the bed. The alarm clock takes 2 of the 4 available prongs.
I can each every footstep from room above - loudly!
The fireplace doesn't work. It's just like the fireplace in last hotel I stayed in, but that one worked.
So many other things. Construction banging right outside window all day, etc. Basically, everything that has already been mentioned by others.

Loved my stay at Hi-Tide! I needed a quiet getaway for writing, plus the soothing crash of the ocean waves. This was perfect for me. Nice clean room, gas fireplace, kitchenette, comfortable supportive bed, nice balcony, friendly staff, free breakfast, lucked out with no noisy 'neighbors,' awesome view of the ocean, and an elevator. After trying less and more expensive hotels at the beach, this will definitely be my go-to place.

Staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable! Our room overlooked the ocean and we had a cute balcony with chairs. The room was good sized with a kitchenette. The beds were shockingly comfortable for hotel beds! Water pressure in the shower was amazing! All in all, Hi-Tide was a great stay at a great price!
