Hello, I'm Matthew Becker Chef/ Owner of Becker's Catering. I first began catering when asked by family and friends to help cook and plan events for their special occasions. Seeing everyone's expressions of joy and sharing their most important moments is an amazing feeling for me. I love being able to help others with their events and providing them with exceptional service.
Family owned and operated our market is stocked with both local and gourmet offerings as well as prepared meals, fresh packaged, salads, wraps and scratch made soups and desserts. Becker's prides itself on sourcing products and ingredients from the farms and businesses in your community in its efforts to provide you and your family with quality meals everyone will love.
All of our meals are prepared fresh throughout the week using many locally sourced products right from your neighborhood. Our meals come fully prepared in oven ready aluminum trays with easy to follow heating instructions. Each tray contains roughly 4 servings and start at $30 each. All of our meals can be frozen and suggest they be thawed completely when ready to heat.
In the event you have additional responsibilities other than the food service you would like us to attend to please inform us prior to the day of the event so we may add additional staff. Please remember our staff is there to ensure an outstanding foodservice is provided to you and your guests. Food is prepared based on 1 serving per person of the menu chosen.
At this time we only accept payments in the form of cash, checks and credit cards by phone. We are in the process of accepting credit cards online as an option and convenience to our clients. Becker's Catering will provide services to the entire state of Connecticut and some areas of surrounding states.

Becker's Catering recently catered our wedding. Matt, Chef and Owner, is super easy to work with. He is professional, organized and detail oriented. He asked questions of our venue we didn't even think about and was able to navigate a difficult venue owner with skill and ease. He goes above and beyond in his customer service. I strongly suggest a tasting as you will want to enjoy his mouth watering food more than once! Pricing is more than reasonable based on the superb quality. He is also willing to work with you in regards to your budget. His staff was polite and professional as well

I was in a jam having promised meatballs for a party when I fractured my ankle. I had never ordered from a catering establishment before. I called Matthew at Becker's catering ( last minute) and he was an angel and helped me with everything~ he was personable, knowledgeable and his meatballs were awesomeI!!! Matthew even threw in a container of mac & cheese & OMG the BEST I've ever had in my life !! I'm going to another party next week and offered to make stuffed mushrooms although I love to cook ...I will be calling Beckers again because for the price of buying what I

We hired Becker's Catering for a Brunch Baby Shower in February and couldn't have been more pleased. This was the second event that we have been to that Becker's catered. The first was an outdoor BBQ, which was outstanding. For the Baby Shower - Matt and his crew thought of everything (I didn't even think about the table clothes for the buffett, but he did, thank goodness) ! Matt worked with me on the menu, editing it several times.
