When Dr. Kellogg opened Kellogg Optometry in 1978, his goal was to provide a premium eye care service to the Spokane area. As his business and patient reach expanded, it was time to welcome Dr. Evans and Dr. Carlson to the practice and become The Eye Care Team. The Eye Care Team's vision has always been centered around connecting people in our neighborhoods with cutting-edge optometric practices.

After 40 years of optometry in Eastern Washington, The Eye Care Team continues to provide premium eye exams for people of all ages. We treat youngsters and adolescents with our children's eye exams and help many diabetic patients with their unique eye care needs. Our eye exam philosophy is centered around 2 medical pillars: prevention and education.
When a child has trouble reading something or finds focusing on a screen uncomfortable, they probably won't (or can't) tell you about it. In fact, they may not even know there's a problem. Children's eye exams give our doctors a chance to review your child's visual health and developing eyes. Our optometrists at The Eye Care Team are specialists in children's eye health, and they bring decades of eye care experience to every exam.
Unfortunately, diabetes affects many parts of your health, including vision. In addition to being more susceptible to certain eye diseases than the general population, there are diabetes-specific conditions that must be diagnosed early to minimize the chances of permanent vision impairment or blindness.

I am new to Spokane and had a very positive first experience with my eye exam and adjustments to a few pairs of my own glasses several months ago, but I really want to give kudos to Sheri Howton for helping out my mom today. Mom was visiting from out of state and recently got new glasses, but they weren't properly fitted. We were able to walk right in and sit with Sheri simply with the hope of having the glasses fit properly until she could bring them back to the optometrist in Montana. I had such a positive experience here today. It was my first time going to them for an eye exam and from making the appointment over the phone, to getting my exam done, and then ordering glasses, everyone I interacted with was so nice, professional and helpful. The exam also felt very thorough and non-invasive. I’m sure the procedures may vary depending on your personal medical history, but in my case at least, there were no uncomfortable drops put into my eyes and no startling puffs of air blown into them, which is what I’ve basically come to expect based on my previous exams at other eye

I like Drs Evans and Kellogg; they're both very nice, and thorough. But the reason I'm leaving a review today is Brad. Let me back up though:
About six months ago, I brought in new glasses that I had purchased elsewhere and asked to have them adjusted. The person who helped me seemed to be in a hurry, and after spending about 18 seconds adjusting the frames, handed them back to me. They seemed straight enough, and the person seemed to be done with me, so I left. After only a few days, the glasses were falling off my face. I'm so timid that I just lived with it.

Hands down the best eye care office I've been to. I have worn corrective lenses (primarily contacts) for about 2 decades, but within the last year my eyes began rejecting my contacts. My eyes were constantly irritated, I was more sensitive to light, and it usually felt like I had something stuck in my eye. Other offices diagnosed this as either an allergy to my contact solution or the lens itself... either way, it was clear that my contact days were over.

The eye care team is an amazing place to go for all optical-related needs! Last week I went in for my annual check up and had my prescriptions updated. The frame selection is great and specifically Antwon (most likely spelling that incorrectly) was phenomenal at giving input as well as cutting the lenses and making sure everything was perfect as well as timely. I would thoroughly recommend for anyone needing new lenses/frames/contacts.

Looking for exceptional customer service? This is the place! I was visiting Spokane from Texas when a tiny screw popped out of my glasses frame, so in desperation, I walked into The Eye Care Team's office, and they began fixing it almost immediately. After replacing the screw and polishing the lenses, my glasses haven't looked so good since they were brand new. On top of that, the staff would not accept any payment for their excellent work. "This is what customer service should be," they said. Amen to that!

I went for an exam here and their results is far different from my previous exam. I went ahead and ordered new glasses and they did not work at all. I could not read anything and felt like I was walking on stilts. I immediately took them off and went back to my previous glasses. I went back in and they suggested I need to buy separate computer glasses and offered to re-do the exam. Instead, I went to another eye clinic paying for a new exam where he came up with a prescription that worked and only slightly different from my previous.

I love Eye Care Team! Between super dry eyes and a very "healthy" prescription, I've had a number of experiences here between appointments, dry eye consultations, glasses & contacts fittings, and shopping for frames. Dr Kellogg and Dr Evans are kind, professional and helpful. The rest of the staff is fantastic, a great group of people that want the best for their customers. Their frame selection is great too, classy designs and some funky designer styles.

Being on a new budget as my husband is going back to school, I really appreciated my experience here. Dr. Evans is very caring and took additional photos of my eyes due to my poor eyesight to make sure no concerns. Since money was tight but I needed both new glasses and sunglasses, Kelly helped me choose the best deals/options for me. She was also very accommodating of my work schedule and did not rush through the process, even though I came in close to closing time swhen picking out AND picking up my new glasses. Had the best experience here, Nicole helped me find exactly what I needed and fixed my prescription from a different company that totally screwed it up, I mean my co workers used to call me Ray Charles..my tinder dates all had Adams apples bigger than mine...once I got my new glasses I realized my thyroid medication was actually stood softener and to believe this hole time I think it was a side affect or something "geez"... thank you so much Nicole you are a true gem..I will now be a eye Care team customer for life

It had been a couple years since I last visited an eye doctor and the team was super helpful with explaining what each test was. The exam was timely and thorough. Both Kelly and Antoine were a huge help when selecting frames. Their honesty was so helpful when I was between frames. Kelly took the time to help me find the best frames for me and my budget. I would not recommend this place to my fellow Providence employees. An employee at the store took my money, but did not place my order. By the time the store caught up with this error, it had already been 10 days. I had to go in and re-order glasses. They also said that they would put a rush on the order but it took 10 days. They promised that my refund would be available when I picked up my glasses, but it was not.She said she mailed it. But I still have not received the refund which has over $100. It seems ironic, that I also put an online order at Zenni for sunglasses, and they came in five

Had eye exam and was told I had two prescriptions. One for driving, one for reading. We chose only driving as that is most needed, can still read relatively ok. After two and a half weeks waiting on my driving glasses, I go in for fitting. Guess what? Wrong prescription. The incompetence is staggering.

This is by far the cleanest, well organized and inviting eye care location and team I've ever had the pleasure of visiting and experiencing! First my eye exam was great and I enjoyed my doctor. Everything went smoothly on that front. However once I selected glasses and paid I was told they would be read in 7-10 business days and if there were any issues they would call me. Again this all was fine and I waited. After 8 business days I called for an update. They told be they would be in soon and just to wait. At 11 business days I called back and someone said they would look into it for me. Again they said they called the Lab and they would be in soon. I called back two days later and found out that the frames I requested and paid

They are very helpful here. They greet you as you enter and try to find the reason for the visit. They have a great selection of sun glasses from, Ray ban, Chloe, and so on.
They also can give you an eye exam and known your prescription and pick out a pair of glasses that are suited for you.
They also have bogo deals which are always good especially if you have different eyes that require different purposes or just different style to change it.
