They are the best. I have had to wear glasses for years and have never been able to get a pair that worked quite right until I went to them. They not only got the script correct so I can see perfectly, the staff is out of this world. They are kind, caring, and make sure you are happy with your selection before moving on.
Dr. Brisbane and Dr. Kordish truly care about their patients! Each member of the eye-care team work together to make each exam a joy and a success, while the optical boutique provides full styling and fitting support fulfilling your doctor's rx to the highest standards! Everyone there is so friendly and amazing!

Unlike a vision screening or other general eye test, comprehensive eye exams evaluate the entire health of the eye. They also help the optometrist or ophthalmologist determine your unique prescription. Comprehensive eye exams should begin as an infant to ensure proper eye and vision development. Ongoing eye health examinations at regular intervals are also important as many eye diseases and vision changes can occur without warning signs.
Eyes are the organs of vision. Through a complex process, they detect and focus light to create images. Vision begins when light rays are reflected off of an object and enters the eye through the cornea and then pupil. It then passes through the crystalline lens which refracts light to be focused on the retina.

Dr Brisbane’s ability to diagnose the needs of a study-weary, eye strained college student, the complicated and high level of correction needed by aging eyes and those in between have addressed all our family eye care needs. She and her staff are diligent, knowledgeable, able to give good style advice and are a pleasure to deal with!

To address Janessa, its absolutely correct to charge for a Contact Lens evaluation over a regular eye exam, as it involves an enormous amount of time and practice liability. If you were not charged at Rockwood, that is a rare exception and not the rule. Its also true that Costco charges the same price for Contacts on most brands, and its absolutely true that with many insurances using that $40 for a Contact evaluation will nullify you materials benefits. $40 is really cheap, there are places that charge $150. I don't work or have any affiliation with this practice, but have worked in

Dr Brisbane has gone into private practice, and apparently she left Rockwood so she had more freedom to rip off her patients. I saw Dr Brisbane a few times at Rockwood and since I liked her, I figured I'd go see her in her new office. Despite my telling the receptionist that I'd been a patient of hers in the past, I was not warned that there was an upcharge for a contacts exam that there hadn't been at Rockwood. I almost walked out of the office when I read that in the fine print of the paperwork but I desperately needed to review my contacts prescription.
