Went into N. Fox this morning to browse, after sharing how much my wife loved the earrings I purchased last year Matt said "check this out", showing a marching diamond and sapphire pendent. N. Fox Jewelers, but never had the occasion to purchase anything or use their services…until now.
I own a gold chain necklace, it is beautiful, but that I rarely (read never) wear. I love the style, but the 18k gold was simply too “fancy” for me. It was purchased many years ago, from a different state.
I went to N.Fox to ask advice about what I could do with it. Julie, a sales representative, had many good ideas, but the best was that she could recreate the links in heavy-gage sterling, so I would have the look, but in a casual, everyday

I took my watch to get a new battery. I'm used to paying $5 for this at another very reputable high end jeweler. I picked up the watch and they said $16.05 - I was like WHAT??!!! That's a rip off!!! I would never go there again for anything to be repaired and probably not to buy any overpriced jewelry.

Greedy jewelers in a small town setting. Post a broken engagement, spoke to the owners of this store who told me that that my engagement ring which they charged 2700 was only worth 500 dollars and was "an inferior diamond." They stated that while they sold this in their SS shop it was really a "mall" diamond. I guess my engagement was inferior just like their diamond...so buyer, BEWARE from this crass shop...

Horrible experience. We called 1 day before our wedding for my brand new wedding band to be repaired. We informed them it was new and we needed a simple repair for a split band since we are from out of state and the band would be replaced when we returned home. They told us to come in and they could repair it. Not sure if it was a race thing, but they took one look at us and refused to repair the band. Gave no reason, no one was in the store and they were not busy. We simply said thank you and left and found another jeweler down the street who did the work. No problem and while we waited since

Terrible quality and customer service. The band/setting of an engagement ring I purchased from them snapped. I assume due to shoddy craftsmanship. Thankfully we didn't lose the diamond. When we brought it in to request a refund for the setting, the owner compared it to a vehicle, that needed repairs every so often. It was 5 months old!! Last I checked Diamonds and Gold are suppose to last forever. He refused to offer a refund only to fix it, our trust was lost and we didn't want the same terrible work redone just to happen again.
