We had our home inspection today with ComfortSpec. The inspector, Joe, could not be more helpful/courteous. He took his time to explain all the various questions we threw at him and explained things in detail all around the house. When we were done, he sat down with us to discuss any concerns and locked up for us when leaving. We will be using comfortspec for future inspections and recommend others to do the same!

When buying a previously lived home, it is imperative to get a home inspection. I hired ComfortSpec and could not be happier with the results. My inspector, Jose, was thorough and kept me informed of all the areas of concern even before the report came out. I had a full home inspection performed as a potential buyer. The home inspector was promptly there on time, very courteous and he methodically went through inside and outside of home. He was very helpful explaining when I had questions, very knowledgeable on all systems and inspections. I would have rated 5 stars but there were a few issues he did not notice. Once I pointed out what I saw he would discuss with me and document accordingly if it was an issue. I want to thank Comfort Spec for conducting a house inspection on my behalf. I've heard many horror stories of first time home buyers and I can only assume that there wasn't a professional representative that can reveal or identify the many issues associated with buying a house. Today we had Joe and Angel do our home inspection. They were both very professional and courteous. Explained things as they went along. They were very thorough. By the end of the business day we had the reports in our email from everything they did. They provided us with information about the Porch App to help make the remainder of our buying process easier. Vincent and Angel from ComfortSpec were extremely professional and friendly. I felt like I was in the presence of true experts! They quickly and thoroughly explained all their findings and gave me comfort that I would have all the information I needed for the property I was evaluating. Vincent showed me all the pictures he took and carefully explained what he saw. There were many items I just didn't see, yet he pointed them out to me and my agent. Wow! Just wow! Fully impressed with the service provided by Kathlynn from ComfortSpec. Upon arriving 15 minutes prior to our appointment time, Kathlynn was already at the property working. She had been there an hour already and stayed for another hour while we were there. Kathlynn was VERY informative. She answered all our questions and helped us better understand what the inspection consisted of. She expressed her level of concerns and was honest with what she discovered. Joe was very detailed in his inspection of our potential new home. He answered all of our questions in detail. When areas of concern arose, he asked us to walk over to go over what the concern was to ensure we understood it. Joe was extremely thorough and professional. Matt did our home inspection and was really great to work with. He welcomed my wife and I to tag along during the process and was very clear and informative in his explanations and observations. There was no alarmist language and he calmly and thoughtfully told us which issues needed to be addressed before we moved in, and which ones to put on our calendar for the next two years as regular maintenance when we become the homeowners. Would highly recommend working with Comfort Spec in this area of PA.

I have found out from my neighbors that radon is prevalent in Pennsylvania. Apparently, my area is a "hot spot".My neighbors have all had the radon levels in their homes tested.
I used Comfortspec 2 times and the dangers of radon were never discussed at all. I was not offered the opportunity to opt for the levels of radon to be test in my future home.
Since I am from out of state, I had no idea about the dangers of having high radon levels in ones home.
I am extremely disappointed that a company I trusted was not concerned

Incredibly thorough, friendly, fast return of reports, well-written & altogether a great experience! Taylor & Matt were really helpful & Taylor answered every question I had that he was allowed to answer- I unknowingly asked a question they're not allowed to answer & he kindly guided me on why they aren't able to answer. ComfortSpec came recommended by our realtor and we decided to go with them even though we found options that cost less. They were friendly and fit us in last minute on a Sunday morning. Chad, our inspector, arrived and got right to work. He was thoughtful, professional, and looked over every inch of the house, answering every question completely. He brought well-rounded experience to point out issues and concerns but also gave us valuable, practical information about what appropriate repairs would look like and their scope, which helped us make more informed decisions about how to move forward

We contacted ComfortSpec to schedule out first home inspection. Brian answered the phone and from the second we got on the phone he was kind and super supportive. He provided us with invaluable information about the community we are buy a home in. Krista followed up with us leading up to the inspection ensuring we were prepared and to let us know that we can ask the inspector whatever questions we had on the day of, but that she was always available as well. The day of the inspection we met with Matt. Matt walked us through every aspect of the inspection and was incredibly detailed. Very professional

From the first phone call to set up our appointment through receiving the inspection report, we could not have received better service anywhere else.
