Dr. Thanh T. Nguyen, O.D. and Dr. Janice L. Lau, O.D. have over 20 years of combined clinical experience to serve your eye care needs. Dr. Nguyen grew up in Northern California but fell in love with San Diego when she attended San Diego State University. After graduating from Nova Southeastern University, College of Optometry in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, she made it a point to return to San Diego.

It was a great experience until picking up my daughter’s glasses. The way the lady explained to me why it took for 6 weeks was the problem. She was so intense and rude. She could have just explained to me why. Although the explanation had changed over the 6 weeks. Initially we were told it would take 3 weeks. Then changed to 4-6 weeks and now she just said 6-8 weeks. She didn’t even try to listen to me. I couldn’t believe how rude she was to me in front of my four small children. We will never come back here again. Too sad because the doctor here was really good.

I just got back from a wonderful experience thanks to Dr. Lau and Kim. Both were very personable, knowledgeable, and honest. I typically hate being upsold any services, but I did not experience that here. Dr. Lau and Kim were both very thoughtful of the patient experience. Will be coming back here for my future exams!

I had a great experience here. I can tell they aren't out for your money, they're HONEST! I had seen a doctor a long time ago that put a prescription in my right eye and when i came here the doc told me i had 20/20 vision in my right eye and said that i did not need glasses. that's how i knew she was honest because i always have had perfect sight in that eye.and later when i called this place, the doc answered the phone and remembered me! very friendly people!

Definitely receives five stars for me. Professional friendly staff my visit with the doctor was a 5 * visit made me feel comfortable with asking questions wasn't in a hurry to get me out of the office I've dealt with a lot of optometrist because I suffer from a eye disease which makes my visits a little more complicated I was very satisfied with staff and doctor thank you so much I highly recommend.
