I really enjoyed my visit here. The staff was very friendly, and Dr. Schaffner was great. I felt my exam was thorough and "eye opening" as far as being informative. Check out was easy and my prescription was emailed to me in minutes since I was filling it elsewhere. The location was super clean and much bigger than I expected based on the store front.

Active duty service members and their dependents should avoid this optometrist.
The base optometrist was backlogged due to covid-19. I called North Park Optometry and they said they accepted Tricare.
I was assured that since I was a sponsor and not a dependent that I did not need a referral.
I went to my appointment and it was mostly pleasant. I will say the optometrist herself, Dr. Shaffner was very professional and friendly.
Leaving the appointment I was charged $17.50 for what I was told wasn't covered. I was perfectly fine with this.
However, a few weeks later I received a call and a bill

Dr. Walton will be the reason why you have a favorite optometrist, who knew that could be a thing? She is so friendly and has brilliant answers to every and all questions, and trust me I ask a lot! The staff is super helpful in figuring out the most affordable options with your insurance and will thoroughly go over it with you to make sure you understand. I never have to wait long for an appointment, they tend to fit you in within a week. Could not recommend this place enough! Love supporting small businesses by going here.

Love love love this place!! Dr. Walton is fantastic. She is really friendly and accommodating. She wanted to make sure I was very happy with the contacts I picked. The ones I had were the expensive brand so she had me try the cheaper brand just to make sure I’m cool spending more money. Turns out the cheaper brand is just fine for me. That recommendation will save me $400/yr!

Best optometrist office I've been to by far! Dr. Delsman is the best optometrist I've been to, as well. I know it's a lot of bests, but I mean it! The front desk staff was extremely helpful, too. Super pleasant and quick. They even helped me do a glasses fashion show to decide which frames I'd like best! Can't recommend this spot enough. Thank you!
