We had a lovely stay. Three women stayed in room #20, the Garden Room. It was spacious and comfortable. French doors opened up onto a balcony outside which looked down on a lovely garden with a quaint walking path. Our room was very quiet. The bathroom is quite modern, having a mirror that had a touch screen on it to reduce fog and turn on a light for makeup. The only negative comment that I have is that there was no form of a handrail or grab in the shower area. I walk with a cane and my family were concerned about me in the shower without something to hang on to. The room was immaculate with

This was a very charming Inn. The room is quaint. I appreciate the drawer space and the pillows were soft. We expected a coffee machine though and the bathtub was pretty dirty. The Staff were very kind!! I appreciate them. I also like that the Inn shares a street with so many small businesses, so everything is walking distance. Overall, I'd stay here again if I was ever visiting Cambria.

Chose this hotel mostly for its proximity to Big Sur it was unfortunately a really rowdy night and the walls did little against the laughter and yelling emanating from the fireplace. What was more surprising and disappointing, though, was that I could hear even the upstairs TV.
Other nits: (1) The area did not feel safe. Lots of weird noises outside my room throughout the night; (2) front desk service was kind of cold/surly for no reason, and (3) no breakfast was available.
On a more positive note, the shower was good!

My boyfriend and I loved our stay at the Bluebird Inn! We got there a little later than expected and it was perfectly fine. The owner was so courteous, helpful, and so so so kind. Our room was IMMACULATE. Cleaner than some high end hotels I’ve been in. The attention to details was insane. From the tiny folds in the toilet paper to the fanned out tissue box, and the bed made tighter than you can imagine, this little Inn exceeded our expectations in every way! Hope to return someday!

The good: location, friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms/ beds, reasonable pricing
The bad: the walls/ ceiling are paper thin. We stayed on the first floor which means we are at the mercy of when our neighbors on the side and above us went to bed. They weren’t even bad neighbors… but we could hear the ceiling creak with every foot step. Brng ear plugs if staying here, but if you want a higher quality sleep, I would either request higher floor or look else where.
