Excelent place.
It doesn't have a very appealing utilizing view from outside but rooms are big, comfortable with Oceanview between the buildings on front of it.
You can listen waves breaking at night.
Not noise from the PCH and feet walking to the beach.
There's a nice trail we went to hiking before breakfast and resulted on one hour walk.

If you advertise an ocean view it would be great if guests could see through the windows.
The room is large but without air conditioning. A ceiling fan is installed above the bed but buzzes loudly when turned on. The wiring hung along the outside of the building made me fearful that the noisy fan was about to start an electrical fire.
It's a passable room only because of the proximity to the ocean front but I think I would look for something better next time.

Omgoddess... amazing ocean view room. Incredibly comfortable bed. Big bay window that opens with shutters. I can hear the waves and see the ocean from my bed. Lovely furnishings. Very nice front desk lady. Good food less than half a mile down the road. Beach less than 100 yards from my room. Love this place

I wish there was -10 stars that I could for this hotel. The carpet was dirty , the fridge still had some garlic bread left by the previous guest!!! The beds were uncomfortable and the sheets were old and probably unwashed . The bathroom was cramped and the towels were old and dirty and the shampoo was so cheap ! The room did not even have an AC ! For the price they charged this hotel gives you no value for your money ! Even the furniture seems to have been bought from an auction. Would not recommend this place to anyone . Few of my friends were planing a road trip and I am glad I warned them about

Sea Breeze Inn is a small hotel that has maybe about 20 rooms. It's located off the highway and very easy to find. When you get to the Inn it resembles more of a motel appearance and could definitely work on it's appearance.
The rooms are nice with the beds and pillows being quite comfortable. The bathroom looked like it had been newly remodeled and was lovely. The hotel provided soaps, shampoo, condition, lotion, and even a shower cap. There was also a coffee maker. The only thing that I didn't like about the room is that it had a strange funny smell to it. I don't know if

Decided to stay here when we decided to go to Cambria on a whim. We knew we were only going to stay here to sleep but we ended up being pleasantly surprised. The room was big enough, there was a mini fridge and a microwave. The view of the ocean was spectacular. The beds were comfortable. The building was clean. Service was good. We were shocked at what we were getting for the price. Will definitely stay here again!

Super clean room newly remodeled bathrooms, brand new carpet. Beds are super comfy and pillows. Has all the amenities nice size fridge raider microwave TV coffee pot and Fixin's. Decor not over the top but very simple. Are usually stay on Moonstone Beach Drive which is double the price and this time I couldn't get a room so I chose Sea Breeze Inn and it did not let me or my sister down. Five minutes to Hearst castle or Cambria. I visit Cambria 3 to 5 times a year and this was in definitely a new experience and one that I enjoyed. We will be definitely staying here again.

Super clean and very friendly front staff and the greatest location of all. My husband and I will come back here every time and I highly recommend this place to everyone . it is truly a little gem in the rough. The best little place in San Simeon and for the best price, Access to a Beach very close by, within 200 yards The tide pools are amazing and again so accessible and within walking distance from the hotel and many other dining and drinking areas. super kid friendly. ❤️❤️♥️♥️❤️ The Sea Lion observatory is within two or 3 miles to the left and Cambria to the right is within

We stayed here for 3 nights at $61 per night. Got a great deal through agoda.
For the price, this was excellent.
Service at the front desk was straightforward. There are two floors to this establishment, but no elevators, so keep that in mind. The carpets lining the second floor hallway are stained. The outdoor windows are dirty with many spider webs. One of our room keys did not work. The room itself was clean, and we wiped the tables down out of precaution and did not come up with any dust. If you have a very high standard and expect a high end place to sleep in go somewhere else.
Motel looks a bit run down from the outside but the rooms are beautiful. The bathroom looks pretty fancy, except for the tear on the shower curtain which is no biggie.
The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. The office closes at 11pm, and we came almost at 11pm since we drove from San Francisco right when I got off work. She was understandable and made sure we were checked properly and not rushed.
The view is amazing, if you open the window you can hear the waves crashing. It's very cozy

Overall, this was a great lil place to stay at. A 2 bed room for the night cost $127 including tax.
The ocean is right next to the Inn, and every star in the sky comes out to say hello at night!

This was horrible! They cancelled two hotel rooms my family getting away to San Simeon, Ca. for Thanksgiving weekend!!!
We booked two hotels with Agoda at The Sea Breeze Hotel over a month ago. And one week before(Today, 11/20/19) they are cancelling due to "renovation" on the hotel.
It turns out to be a straight out lie! There are still rooms available at this hotel for 3 times as much now for this weekend! This leaves me with scrambling to find a place for 5 people to stay that weekend, last minute at top prices. What a scam!!!! Agoda is still selling rooms for this hotel too (For

It's VERY unfortunate that I am writing this review - The front desk lady was very friendly and efficient when I checked in last night. This morning when I went to return the key I asked her "Do you know why I'm upset?" - and she sheepishly replied "yes".
The first problem was my room was SUPER hot without an air conditioner - so for the first half hour in the room I had to leave the front door and all the windows open just to get to a comfortable temperature. Not the end of the world and if that was the only problem I wouldn't be writing this.

One of the worst hotels we've ever used. The exterior is old and faded. No lobby. Water pressure in shower goes to a drizzle if others are showering. Window screens torn. No tissue in tissue box. Tub finish needs to be fixed . Dirty shower curtain. Rusty ac/heat unit. Mold on windows. If you open your bathroom window anyone walking by can see right in. Flimsy door lock. Rusty door hinges. Our room was 121 above the office and you can hear every single incoming phone call. You can also hear every person walking up the stairs. So awful that we left a day early and drove home 4 hrs after the

This motel was ok for our 1 night stay. We originally had a room booked at the San Simeon motor Lodge but it was so bad we checked ou if there and into the Sea Breze. That being said The Sea Breeze seemed like an upgrade. I'm sure back when this motel opened it was quite nice based on the crystal and silver chandelier in the stair case. Now covered with rust And dust and cob webs. They tried to upgrade the rooms. Kinda new tiles in the bathroom a nd new ish granite. Rust along side of tub and floor could use a good scrubbing. First room we were supposed to stay in had not been cleaned when we opened the door - kind of negligent seeing as I've been staying in hotels 27 years and never seen that but then we got upgraded to an ocean view room and it was much better. It has all basic and necessary amenities but it didn't seem that clean. Vending machine ate some change too but the price was reasonable so overall not a bad stay. Beds were very comfy.

Easy to find, affordable, and near the beach. The room was a nice size and and clean. No weird smells. Came with a fridge and microwave.
The bathroom was huge but struck me more of a public bathroom than a bathroom that belongs in a motel. The only thing I noticed was that whoever cleaned the room forgot to throw away the soap from the last occupant (ew, see pic). This is the first time I've experienced something like that.
Anyway, we stayed there so we could visit Hearst Castle. It was only a 7 minute drive away so this was really convenient for a one night stay.

I was looking on different sites and came across this place because I narrow down places by complimentary breakfast. But, when we got there, I asked what time do they hold breakfast. He said they don't do breakfast but they offer a discounted breakfast at a local restaurant. This was disappointing. But I figured, well luckily I brought food with me since there is a fridge and microwave in the room.

Stayed here 2 nights in a row and well won't be back . Pool is dirty , upstairs walkway in disrepair. Rooms are what you pay for. Sheets are dirty , showers are ridiculous. Paid cheap got cheap . No air conditioning . The continental breakfast is lacking with the stale muffins and very little choices for breakfast. The patio was wet on the chairs and take to food back to room. The pool is dirty and not taken care of. The windows are nice to have but , the seals are not good as they are pulling away from bottoms of windows .The flooring up on second level is bad you can feel wood bend beneath

I've been coming to San Simeon for years and always stayed next to the shore side. Most of the hotels/motels with a good price in this part of town gets overbooked very quickly. I got lucky that there was a spot on this hotel. They offer free parking, which is a big parking lot right off the main road; free continental breakfast, free wifi, and easy access to the beach.

We were in San Simeon, and the motel we reserved at, cancelled our room. Then did nothing to tell us that we had no room for the night. No names.. but their initials are D.I.
The Sea Breeze here, I used www.hoteltonight.com. I got the room for $65. Great price! However the Sea Breeze wanted $59. Then on top of that is the $8 tax & Fee. Total is $73. So before you use the internet, check the front desk. Great room, great firm bed. 40" flat screen! Rm 105 hardly any water pressure, and the ice machine is right behind the wall here. It runs and dumps ice all night long. So bring a white

We were looking for a last minute, fairly inexpensive place to stay in the Cambria/San Simeon area (made our reservation the day before). I wish I could give it a 2.5 star rating, but I'll round up because my husband gives it a 3 star.
As others have said, from the outside it looks rather bad. It's old, the stairways on the outside of the building are sort of rickety and the parking lot has trash bins in view of the road.
