They did a home inspection on a house that I bought and there were many hidden things from the previous owners that were hidden from us now I'm going to have to get a real estate lawyer to sue them for everything they had there prior owners of the house that has been was a home inspector and the wife was a radon inspector they put this house together with pieces from other properties highly disappointed it's just wrong to treat people like that no I do not refer or would not refer anybody to this home inspection company.

Marc was super responsive and scheduled a pre-offer walk-and-talk inspection of a newly renovated semi-detached row house in DC on short notice for a reasonable price. He explained everything in simple terms we understood, and he was thorough. For example he smelled gas and went right to his truck to get a meter that detected higher-than-normal levels of gas coming out of an exhaust pipe. He also pointed out little things inside the house that we wouldn't have noticed ourselves and helped us understand which parts were high quality and where they cut corners. I recently purchased a home in DC and Marc was referred to me by my realtor. As this was my first time purchasing an older home, I wasn't sure what to expect or look for in a home inspector. TEN STARS!!! The home buying process is very stressful, but Marc from FSI Home Inspections really put me at ease with my purchase. I called around a few companies for different quotes and Marc was the only one that directly talked to me prior about my concerns and scheduling. Other companies either asked me to leave a voice message or led me directly to a call center. More importantly, his inspection fee was also significantly lower than all the others! I hired Marc to do a full home inspection and radon testing prior to a home purchase. Right out of the starting gate, Marc was responsive. He got back to me with a competitive quote right away. He was able to schedule the inspection within a couple of days and placed the radon test during the home review. While we were touring the house together, Marc took the time to answer a lot of questions and showed himself to be very knowledgable and observant. Responsive, through, reasonably-priced. I hired Marc to perform a short-notice pre-drywall inspection. He responded quickly to my request for a quote through Yelp and was very flexible about meeting me early in the morning. Marc arrived on time, and he quickly set in to walking through the house. Marc has a good eye for detail: he checked every electrical line, water lines, gas line, and air duct. He identified a few issues, including a shower pan that wasn't properly sloped. Marc's background in construction made him a great choice for our home inspector. He performed two home inspections during my home search, one pre-offer and one for an offer contingent on a home inspection. He was very thorough with both inspections and was able to alert us to major issues with the home that would have cost us time and money down the road. Since he has extensive knowledge from his construction background he was able to provide us with approximation of cost (only when asked) for items he found in our home inspection, which really help to us to understand how much to ask for
