ReVision Optometry is an independent private practice attuned to the changing landscape of eye care delivery. It is the first San Diego optometric clinic built from the ground up to serve the medically-necessary contact lens needs of patients with keratoconus and after corneal transplantation. These complex cases are referred to us by other eye doctors for novel, non-surgical vision rehabilitation.
ReVision Optometry is the first eye care practice in San Diego County to include the advanced diagnostic technologies - digital retinal imaging, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and an automated refraction system - as part of every comprehensive eye examination. Our philosophy is to treat our patients as if they are friends and family, placing their interests first and foremost.
The Keratoconus San Diego Clinic at ReVision Optometry is directed by Brian Chou, OD, FAAO, FSLS, and is conveniently located in central San Diego. Dr. Chou is a past recipient of the National Keratoconus Foundation's top optometrist award. His experience in treating keratoconus includes publishing the first U.S. report on Intacs surgery for keratoconus during fellowship training at Jules Stein Eye Institute, UCLA School of Medicine.
The Scleral Contact Lens Clinic at ReVision Optometry serves patients with unusual eye diseases and conditions, including keratoconus, pellucid marginal degeneration (a variant of keratoconus), post-LASIK corneal ectasia (iatrogenic keratectasia), corneal transplantation, irregular astigmatism, and corneal scarring from trauma, previous corneal eye infection, and poor corneal surgery outcomes.
EyePrintPRO is a transparent prosthetic scleral device designed to exactly match the contours of your eye, providing the best vision and comfort possible. It can offer the same benefits of a scleral contact lens but is customized to a greater degree. Patients that have enjoyed scleral contact lenses but have experienced limitations with vision and/or comfort, may be candidates for EyePrintPRO.

Had a fantastic visit, everyone was extremely professional, I was seen immediately, Dr. Chou explained everything in detail to help me understand more about my eyes than I ever thought I'd know. Cindi was great and helped me pick out a pair of glasses I really liked.

Very professional! From front office to the Dr. This place was absolutely amazing! Very kind and Extremely clean!!!! They have the coolest technology I have never seen at any other eye exam places. They take our insurance which other places did not. Dr. Chou takes the time to explain everything to you and even showed some hands on models for better explanation of the eyes anatomy. I'm so happy to have found this place I highly recommended coming here for your next exam! You won't want to go anywhere else! The staff played some Disney movies and gave my kiddo some stickers to keep him

Was nervous about my visit as I had previously visited an optometrist that tried to prescribe me something I felt was not necessary. This experience was 100 times better. The girls at the front were very friendly and very informative. Dr. Chou was also wonderful he explained everything in detail, I felt very informed and was very happy that I came here and got a second opinion.

Dr Chou is the GOAT, and his staff are exceptional. Plus, they have eye stickers on the walls in the exam room, so … basically, just a perfect experience all around. The team took the time to explain every test they were doing. We went through the results together. We found the perfect prescription and contacts. Like, this could not have been any better.

Outstanding experience at ReVision Optometry from the moment I walked in until the moment I walked out. There was no waiting, the pre-exam was super efficient, Dr. Chou explained things to me about my eyes I had never heard/known in 35 years of exams and Cindi helped picked out the perfect shaped glasses for my face and explained the costs of the lenses in detail to help me choose the best option to me. I am a new customer, I had my appointment Friday and I decided to change optometrists because I was not happy with the last one.
I have to say by far this has been the best optometrist I have ever had. From the start, I was greeted with a smile and the technician was so patient and friendly. Once I met with the doctor I was also shocked by his treatment. Dr. Chou was extremely thorough in explaining every detail of the process with such ease and precision. I've never had a doctor explain things in such detail. I am extremely satisfied with the service from all the staff. I am happy I switched

The staff is amazing here, from the moment I walked in I was taken care of. The dr had amazing bed side manner explaining literally everything to me in detail!! The eye exam was quick and painless and the glasses selection was great! I wish I found this place sooner I've never been to an office where everyone was so nice!!

Dr. Chou and the staff of ReVision Optometry are amazing. He spent the time to get my prescription exactly right and I’m so happy. His staff was warm and welcoming. I think that I am difficult to test and my prescription is tricky. He was patient and so kind. I will recommend this office to everyone I know. Could not be more pleased.

Dr. Chou is a top-notch doctor and very professional. He is extremely thorough and detailed in all aspects of his practice. My daughter insists on seeing him for any type of medical eye visits instead of her regular medical doctor. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and educates us on everything he is doing and why. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an eye doctor that goes above and beyond!

Dr. Chou is an amazing eye doctor: thorough, caring, and highly trained. He was actually referred to me from a client of mine whose son needs very specific contacts made for a rare eye disease. Dr. Chou was able to do this. His exam includes machines that actually map out the topography of your eyes! Highly competent doctor. I highly recommend

Wow, I must say that Dr. Chou is by far, the best optometrist I have ever been to. He got me into my contact lenses in such a short amount of time (less than 2 weeks from date of ordering) and was super nice and thorough during the exam. I regret not seeing him sooner as he really helped me out big time. His staff was super friendly and Cindi on… the phone was very courteous and efficient and had a really nice demeanor. They dealt with insurance stuff literally within the same day of my visit and had ordered my lenses less than 24 hours after my visit. Dr. Chou literally knows everything

Staff at ReVision Optometry are the best in San Diego. Whether you live in north county or south county, you'd be well served to drive to convenient Mission Valley area. Their office has wonderful technology but more importantly the staff treat each patient with kindness, professionalism and they are patient and caring. Dr. Chou is amazing and Cindy is really wonderful.

Dr. Chou, is by far the best optometrist I've been to in San Diego. He has been my Dr. for over 10 years. He truly loves what he does which is obvious to anyone who meets him. He is very thorough and goes above and beyond to make sure you leave his office with all your questions answered. His staff is friendly and helpful. His store offers a wide variety of frames that are fairly priced. I recommend Dr. Chou to anyone who cares about their eyes.
