I’ve lived in 5 student complexes and this is my least favorite one. It is considered one of the best in Murfreesboro but the new management messed everything up. Devin is the most disorganized manager i have ever dealt with. Every issue I had no matter how simple, took weeks to be fixed! It’s very exhausting.

If I could I would give 0 stars. It is November 10, 2021. I moved in on August 20, 2021. I have been having issues in my unit since I've moved in-- that is a mold and a moisture problem. I have reached out and maintenance hasn't done nothing about it to fix the issue just gave me and my roommates a Dehumidifier which stays in the kitchen/living area where me and my roommates share. I was told to "shower with my bathroom door open" to prevent the moisture--smh. I have birds occasionally that comes in my bathroom vent. I was told "they do that" it's a horrible aroma

Edit: It's been over 2 months and there still has been nothing done about the issues in my daughter's apartment.. I guess I will have to get a lawyer involved to get them to do anything..Stay away from this place.
Worst place ever. My daughter's bed frame was broken when we got in the room, and the mattress was in bad condition. The remote for the air conditioner was broken. One of her roommates didn't even have a mattress. We have informed the office many times but have been told there is a backlog on maintenance and they have to order the bed frame. Really? Why weren't these apartments checked

East Main is the best place I’ve lived at throughout college. I like the privacy you get with the rooms pretty much being studios. I wish there were more amenities, but you get what you pay for. I like that it’s walking distance from campus too. The gym is okay, but there’s hardly any equipment. Maintenance and trash service was nice!

I moved here super last minute from Nashville and have had a wonderful experience. The staff is super nice and helpful, maintenance is always helpful and fast. The community is overall very quiet and makes it a good place for studying or working at home. The wifi can be a bit slow at times but otherwise have had no problems. It's a bit more expensive then some of the other apartments in the area but comes furnished and you get a ton of individual space making it much worth the money. The utility bill is always low because of the deals they have. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking to

I started my lease in August of 2020, here's the pros and cons as of Jan. 2021
Pros:
-Decent amount of space to live in
-EMQ gym is clean and has a fair amount of exercise machines
Cons:
-My biggest problem is that the Wi-fi connection is horrible for anything but basic web searches (no gaming under 100 ping/4k video streams), even on an ethernet port.
-The furniture is maintained poorly, whether it's damaged or stained you will move in to see management hasn't even attempted clean/replace it.
-Walls are paper thin, so you're guaranteed to hear your roomate or upstairs

East Main should be ashamed. How can you keep making promises without showing any progress? Totally unacceptable to pay rent for an apartment that is really not going to be fixed! I am so disappointed, I talked with the new manager in the office and was assured that everything was being taken care of. I need to escalate this to whoever is really in charge. I see there are several residents complaining about the same thing. Has anyone contacted code enforcement?

I would not recommend living here whatsoever.
Ever since I have moved in, mold has been a problem. At one point in time my most precious belongings were covered in mold. This problem has persisted and I now have problems sleeping because my allergies act up only when in my room. After requesting help, two staff members supposedly walked through my room and reported they did not see any mold even though mold is usually hidden and not in plain sight.
Appliances, furniture, and amenities are cheap and break easily. The water pressure is very low as well. However, I am a huge fan of the gym!

My experience was not as resident, but as guarantor paying the rent. Pros-convenient, walking distance to MTSU,, available parking, spacious, nice amenities in individual rooms; Cons-dirty at move in, air broken and when repaired they cut a good sized hole in bathroom ceiling that was never fixed (they did put up trash bag after concern about mold shared), inexplicable utility overages every month even after roommates moved home due to Covid campus closure, some inspections of premises you were given notice while on others no notice at all, no response to inquiries regarding deposit from office

I have had two daughters living at East Main Quarters since 2018 and was very pleased with the management company when my older daughter moved in. But since the new company took over in 2020, we've had issues including a leaking AC unit resulting in mold in my younger daughter's apartment that has not been addressed and now she and her roommates have been waiting two weeks to have the main refrigerator replaced after the freezer completely stopped working. The apartments are supposed to be providing some compensation in rent, but these girls have not been able to buy groceries or cook meals for

I recently moved into East Main Quarters at the beginning of August of 2019. About two weeks after move-in day, I have noticed mold growing on the walls. My roommate and I contacted the front desk and left multiple maintenance requests to have the problem resolved. East Main has continued to give me the run-around and the problem has still not been resolved. Now, I've had to dispose of my personal items such as hair care, luggage, clothes, kitchenware, etc. because the mold has spread onto those items. I am highly disappointed that this problem has not been resolved.
