We own and operate two conveniently-located funeral homes in Delaware, and the first on-premise crematory in the greater Wilmington area. Our Wilmington location offers a spacious chapel and foyer that reflects the dignity and serenity appropriate for any type of funeral service. Our Hockessin location is a recently renovated facility where floor-to-ceiling frosted glass windows bathe the chapel in peaceful light.

Above all, Chandler's is a family funeral home. Ever since it was founded by James T. Chandler Sr. on West Ninth Street, Wilmington, Delaware in 1892, four generations of our family have been dedicated to preserving and building on our reputation for service, professionalism, and community involvement.

To be eligible you must be a veteran discharged or separated from active duty under conditions other than dishonorable, and have completed the required period of service. I would give them 0 stars if I could. I was treated with disrespect when my dad died. I was actually told to be quiet during our preliminary meeting. Disgraceful. They were uncaring and unkind.
When I called them about the gravestone that needed dad's date of death they told me they would have someone call me. Of course no one did call.
Steer clear of this business if you are looking for respect and kindness.
