Before opening her private law practice, Alicia Key served from 2004 to 2013 as Deputy Attorney General and Director of the Child Support Division for the Office of the Texas Attorney General. In that capacity, she was responsible for the management of the largest child support program in the country.
Tyler Key is a partner at Key Law Office PC. His primary practice areas are in family law, civil litigation, and small business development and support. Tyler had been designated as a "Super Lawyers- Rising Star", an award distinguishing Tyler as one of the top young lawyers in the state.
In the family law context, Tyler's main interests involve property division in divorce cases with family-owned businesses, and high-value or complicated asset holdings or investment structures.These cases often involve separate property claims by one or both parties, prenuptial agreements or trusts that affect the property rights of the parties, or company or partnership agreements that affect the rights of third parties.

Matthew ("Matt") Maldonado recently joined the team as "Of Counsel." Matt's personal and professional representation has achieved success for his clients in divorce, child custody, child support, and Child Protective Services (CPS) matters in Hays, Bexar, and Travis Counties. A father of four, a teacher's husband, and a former Combat Medic, Matt relies on knowledge fostered from personal experience to advocate for his client's best interest.
Mary Kate Brown is an associate attorney with the firm specializing in family law matters. She earned her undergraduate degree from Concordia University and Juris Doctorate from St. Mary's University School of Law, where she served as a teaching assistant and executive editor of the St. Mary's Law Journal, and interned with the Texas Third Court of Appeals.

Sarah was the BEST she always reassured me and walked me though step by step of my divorce. She never judged me for all of the questions I asked. When I wasn’t able to pay due to a job change, we worked out a payment plan that made it to where they never stopped working on my case. The whole office setting is extremely professional and I only had to go into the office twice. Extremely COVID cautious. I will give their number to all of my friends for any kind of legal advice. They are also fairly priced for the work they do. If I could rate them 1,000 stars I would.
