If you can avoid it don't rent from any Greystar properties. You can leave your apartment more clean than when you moved in and still be charged $210 for cleaning fees. The utilities and trash are also always higher than they tell you. They made multiple mistakes with charges towards my rent in my time here.

Carpets in hallways need changed, especially those on second floor. Even after having been washed, they really stank for days.

Apartments are not as nice as they would lead you to believe. Management was nosey and be prepared to have more visits than is really necessary - You don’t feel like it’s your place at all. Also the advertised square footage is not accurate unless they are counting the porches (they shouldn’t). The apartment that was advertised as 1000 square foot was more like 600 square foot when I measured it.

Great staff (friendly and professional)
Parking and noise seem to be the greatest issues as well as Valet Service not being reliable as to their posted schedule 🙄

The maintenance people are the only guys from the complex that are worth 5 star review!

I would highly recommend reading the reviews for Greystar management before renting any of their properties. RENTERS BEWARE

For removing my negative review (:
FYI I posted a pretty intense review over a year ago and it's been removed. Don't live here.

Honestly, the most positive thing about this complex is Chris. He's compassionate and always in a great mood, and definitely deserves a raise and promotion.
The Amazon lockers are really nice. As for everything else, it's either "meh" or terrible. If you have an apartment facing the inside of the complex, all you'll hear day and night are the garage doors and people yelling in the courtyard. I'm not sure what architect thought that it would be a good idea to design this like the echo chamber it is. Speaking of garage doors, they're probably broken. Oh, and you're not allowed to take out your own

I've been a resident here since August of 2019 and the staff here is top notch. Everyone from the leasing agents Chris and Chamaria to the Manager Kim! They've worked with me for any issues we've had and can easily say that it's been the best place I've ever rented from. Highly recommended!

I've been living here for over 18 months now and I'm super frustrated with the way management handles issues. You can see my last review for details of the facilities/apartments themselves. These are my complaints with management, and how they handle the garage, the trash, and the gym.
1) Garage - the doors break down ALL THE TIME. They are constantly out of service. Sometimes it's the entrance, sometimes it's the exit and they will be left out-of-order for MONTHS so that there is only one entrance/exit (when the garage is designed to have 1 one-way entrance and 2 one-way exits

My Husband and I have been living in some slum apartments for years and we're finally fed up. We had been eyeing Harrington Square for awhile and decided to swing by without and appointment on a Sunday no less to see if they had any availabilities. Not only were the staff super welcoming but they also let us a view a few units that same day which is usually unheard of. The first unit they showed us I fell in love with which is why we ended up signing out lease that same day and moving in the next day. I literally feel like I'm living in a hotel. My apartment is beautiful, the property

I also posted this review on Google, but I'm going to leave it here too as I am shocked by these other crazy low reviews.

In response to some other reviews, it is true the mailboxes were broken for a time while we lived here, but the disposition of the mailman and time it takes for an outside entity to repair the mailboxes has nothing to do with the apartment complex as neither of those things are directly controlled by the office staff...

The garage gate was broken from time to time, but more often than not it was from residents running into it because they can't be bothered to wait

I'll make this quick but cant guarantee it will be painless.

I was made aware that their parking garage gate broke not that long ago which resulted other people to come and break in on cars inside.

So much for security.

So let me tell you about this apartment complex.. first things first when I applied for an apartment online before I even was moving in it gave me a price online. I thought it was great so I applied and gave $400 to hold the apartment... next thing I know the apartment complex is calling me "that's way to low no way we gave it to you for that price" gave them all the confirmations I could and finally they "gave in" to give me that price.

During the holidays someone vandalized all the mailboxes trying to steal peoples mail. It took almost 4 months to get them replaced

-- I have lived at these apartments since 2014 and I have had more bad experiences than good.
In 2014 the maintenance staff was pretty good but around 2015 they all left and they cannot keep anyone worth a dam around. The guy they have now was yelling at people like he owns the place.
Over the years living here it seems they want to keep up the paint and landscaping but no one knows how to do a safety or security check around the building, some of the fire rated doors in the stairwells do not even shut. I doubt they even know what a fire rated door is.
No assigned maintenance team at this location

The experience has been good so far. No major complaints. Security is good considering the neighborhood. Kudos to event management team, they make the place more lively. The only thing to have would be vents in the corridors.

Friendly and helpful staff. Although it does seem like the office goes through staff quite frequently, which is disappointing, especially when you liked them. I like our apartment home itself but unfortunately we have some people below us who smoke pot, ALOT, and it seeps into our place some how, even with the windows shut. This has been difficult with it being so warm, we want to open the windows but we also don't want to smell like weed.
The noise level isn't good either, especially at night and in the mornings. Probably the loudest place we've lived in unfortunately. But other

It gets worse. My mother tried to extend her rental by 6 months only to hear that he unit had already been leased out. She is now being forced to move to another unit in another part of the facility for no reason.

Harrington Square has not offered to assist (financially or otherwise) in this seemingly unnecessary transition. I mean--where is the basic common sense or humanity? Who is held accountable to tenants here?

Pros: Modern/open floor plans, quite, easy access to major freeway, local parks, shopping and restaurants near by, community events.

Cons: Smoke detectors are too sensitive ( go off when you open the oven door), lobby and hallways smell terrible, the elevators need to be cleaned on a regular basis.

The team has really pulled together to successfully restore elevator service in the north tower! Thank you!

Come check this location for yourself, has a nice fitness area, gated parking garages, and located near SafeWay for your grocery needs. The management team is very helpful and the community has a great hospitality team to welcome you here.

Their maintenance staff are quick to respond to service requests and have really been working overtime to restore the landscaping. Things are really looking great!

My initial review was a 1 star based solely on the service provided by the ASSISTANT property manager who lied to me and my husband about being the property manager. I was reassured by her on a number of occasions that she was the top of the pyramid. Come to find out the day of moving out she was the Assistant; extremely irritated by this!

The Property Manager - Sarah and Leasing Agent Destiny are such a gem in the apartment industry. They do go above and beyond to solve residential issue, and are willing to make wrongs; right. After my move-out I was able to get several ongoing issues resolved

This is not a good place to live since there are lots of people who smoke weeds. It smells all over the garage and elevator. All you can smell in this apartment is weeds. The dryer is killing all my shirts and blouse and we ask for help for months and it's never been fixed.

Where to begin.

Now this portion will be based off of move out only. They are part of Riverstone residential group and let me say Heather the AR for Riverstone has absolutely no respect for customers. I received an invoice from Riverstone for almost $200 I wanted to clarify a couple of charges on the invoice and all I got in return was an attitude and a response of you just need to pay it. There was no room for explanation to clarification. I'm an accountant so I can usually figure out an invoice or two but this invoice from them made no sense. So I got a hold of the girls in the office
