I loved the great vibe at Saint Kate where I attended a holiday art marketplace. The vendors were high quality with a wide variety beautiful offerings while live music provided a festive atmosphere. I enjoyed the artwork displayed in their on site gallery and the hotel's own art collection was also impressive. The contemporary feel of the hotel was welcoming and engaging.

Really wish we had chosen somewhere with better service to stay. We’ve been at the bar over an hour and still haven’t received the drinks we ordered. What a waste to have paid for the package with the vouchers. Couldn’t get a table at Aria because of the theater crowd, and the bar is so understaffed they can’t get anything out.
Crowd is lame, as well. If you’re under 50 and not wealthy, don’t bother.
Ooh, the people who sat down 20 minutes after us got their food, good for them.

What an exceptional experience! I have stayed in many places in the USA and have not experienced the kind of staff enthusiasm to satisfy even the smallest of issues. This is truly an amazing place. The art, the staff, even the food was exceptional. I will recommend this place to anyone traveling anywhere near Milwaukee, anytime! Don't miss the chance to experience Saint Kate - the Arts Hotel!

Excellent location, right in the heart of downtown Milwaukee. The art on display is fabulous as well, even with the disappointment that came when the art vending machine ripped us off numerous times (picture an old cigarette machine that dispenses (supposedly) pocket sized artworks)...would've made for some neat souvenirs if it actually would've worked...
The lobby & bar is beautiful, and the pizza joint within makes a damn delicious pie.
For some reason, though, their attempt at having all the rooms have record players actually detracts from the overall experience, due to the cheap briefcase

The Bar at Saint Kate was the perfect backdrop for the Happiest Happy Hour this past Friday with 50+ guests. We celebrated and enjoyed cocktails and enjoyed live music! The street view provided a peek at the busy downtown and the view at the bar teased us with an array of artwork from the lobby to the galleries! Our large crowd was spoiled by the courteous bartenders that were quick, polite and polished as they treated us to a true experience. The venue exceeded our expectations as we filled the bar for a memorable celebration, enjoyed Proof Pizza, and received a restful night's sleep

This review is just for the art: I have yet to stay overnight.
The art is curated mainly by MoWA DTN, but you don't need a membership or admission to see the art. Took some little ones here and they liked it. I think feeling like they were exploring a hotel kinda helped, but they got into the art. There was a piece on the second floor that riffed on a Liechtenstein piece with the crying comic book lady, and it had screens in it showing odd vignettes and they were rapt, and not just because it was a screen. They were analyzing the work a little too (as much as they can do at that age

Saint Kates Arts Hotel is a fantastic date night place. Right from delicious Proof Pizza (the make your own is a fantastic option!) to the beautiful art collections they have in the gallery and around in the lobby of the hotel, I can personally spend hours at this hotel.
Best kept secret: Their cocktails in the hotel lobby are excellent and rival a lot of the specialty craft cocktail restaurants in town. Recently I took a Craft Cocktail 101 there and their mixology team is very knowledgeable and helped my group walk through the process of creating yummy drinks. Later a manager emailed us all

My family and I recently stayed for two nights at Saint Kate Hotel in Milwaukee. After a busy Thanksgiving, I was looking forward to getting away somewhere safe and close to home. I have to say that Saint Kate Hotel and its staff made our stay absolutely perfect and exceeded my expectations. The hotel is located in the heart of downtown Milwaukee right across from the Marcus Performance Art Center and next door to the Pabst theater. Unfortunately, due to the Corona Virus pandemic, most of the indoor entertainment venues were closed. However, there was live music playing at Saint Kate's bar

Favorite place in Milwaukee! Although the hotel part has been closed due to COVID, my friend and I recently sat at the beautiful first floor bar for cocktails and live music. This has become our absolute favorite thing to do for a special night out! Kelsey, our server, was super fun to talk to - we love to see her up at Giggly too! Not only are the drinks delicious, but seeing the rotating art installations is always a stunning, one-of-a-kind experience. Again, FAVORITE place in Milwaukee!

I never thought I'd get the pleasure of staying the night at Saint Kate, as I live only a mile away, but for my husband's work holiday party, we got the chance. And oh what a remarkable job they've done with the place!
Without even being a big art lover myself, I can still greatly appreciate this place. The decor as you enter the hotel, to the bar and restaurant, through into the rooms themselves... all of it is beautiful and well thought out. We loved our room and all of its special touches. There was even a record player and plenty of records to pick from (more in the lobby if

Perfect spot for an intimate meal before a show at the Marcus Center next door or any special night out downtown. TDR is a unique and very personalized experience. The food and drinks are delicious and the service is VIP. What you'd expect from a high-end steakhouse but with a very different vibe than big places. Instead, this "speakeasy" is just a single, small, dimly-lit room you have to know about with a handful of staff buzzing around and just a dozen or so tables filled with other couples enjoying themselves. It's a once-in-while kind of place that will be hard to forget

The Dark Room was such an incredible experience. From walking into the dining room, to the menus, to the decor, you can tell everything was carefully curated to make this a really unique experience.
Not only was everything beautiful, but the food was amazing. I was with a larger group and everyone raved about their dinner choices. We shared appetizers and desserts. My personal favorites was the baked goat cheese, the salmon and the banana cream pie.
The servers were attentive and offered great suggestions.
Overall, it was a lovely evening. I am excited to bring back friends to see their reactions

My husband and I celebrated our engagement in the This time Tomorrow's canvas room, and we had a wonderful experience at this hotel. First of all, we were greeted by 3 super friendly staff at the front desk when we checked in. Then we were both amazed by how cool the room was - there're so many musical elements. The wall was completely decorated by old CDs. There was a music player on the desk. There's even a guitar, a piano and a ukulele in the corner! The Hotel prepared some food and put some sweet decor on the bed for us as my husband had mentioned the room was for engagement
