I lived here for 2019/2020. While the main floor and maintenance staff are very good, the management company and business office staff are awful. The Management Company staff are extremely rude and will not make any accommodations for anyone (e.g., moving out before 9 am due to a funeral).
Additionally, my last year of living in the building was very difficult as (i) certain bugs were located in 215 and kept returning, (ii) large pitbulls are allowed in the building, and (iii) the office staff couldn’t assist with any gym or moving out issues.
I would honestly recommend you look at another

I have been living in this building for 3 years now and have had many issues including infestations with roaches and spiders, cigarette/weed fumes from other apartments coming into our home and constant plumbing issues. We always escalate these issues and they have never been completely taken care of. Thankfully my husband and I are now looking to move out however the availability of our next apartment has been delayed by 2 months, therefore we've had to opt for a month to month lease renewal. They have been increasing our rent each month which I was hoping to discuss. I had been trying to get

Like: doormen are very nice, size of rooms is great, q and 6 stop Nearby
Dislike: Management staff does not care at all, horrible at communication, maintenance is a hit or miss, I’ve had maintenance folks cut corners and not fix my issue.
Update 2021: maintenance remains my biggest issue with the building. I’ve never been able to get in touch with them directly and the ticketing system is a joke. The electricity expenses in the summer are also really high because the ac units are old and inefficient.

For as long as I can remember packages for my family have been accidentally sent to Normandie Court. Normandie Court has a similar address just like my building. My family and I end up going to Normandie Court whenever we track whatever packages we get when the tracking information said package was delivered at front desk. The building where my family and I live at doesn't have a front desk. On Sunday June 14th, 2020 a package under my mom's name was delivered there at least that's what the tracking information said. When my mom and I arrived at the mail room at Normandie Court not only my mom

Do you enjoy taking a warm shower in the morning ? Well those days are long gone!!! Welcome to Normandie court, I mean NORTHmandie court, where the shower water is so cold you may as well be trekking through Alaska. After placing numerous complaints over a matter of months you would think something would be resolved around here. GUESS NOT. Am I reaching for the stars here ? NOT REALLY.
-Sincerely,
Counting down the days until my lease in the North Pole is over.

This place is amazing because it overlooks the city. My sister lives here and every time I stay with her, I am amazed at her city views. It is located in the upper east side by the FDR next to the Harlem River so that part, I am not too fond of. They could use a complete renovation of the place. Some of the carpet needs repair. But the location is the heart of Normandie Court and it is semi-attractive.

Great building to live in. The staff is friendly and hard working. You have the Q train right at your doorstep and the 6 train just an avenue away. The one bedroom sizing is just right. Yes, during peak times you may be in a crammed elevator or have to wait a few minutes - but it is like that in any big NYC rental building. My one advice to management is to give the health club carpet and furniture a face lift .

This 5 star rating is for the staff of Normandie Court who always go above and beyond the call of duty! The service and friendliness of the staff was surprising and amazing. I specifically would like to mention Yves who works in building 205 until midnight. Yves was so helpful, warm and playful with my two children when we were leaving or coming in to the building. My children looked forward to seeing him. He always helped us with our packages and deliveries door to door service (from our car to our apartment). One day I was worried about my husband and infant I hadn't heard from all day while

This building has the potential to be great if the elevators worked. At the end of the day, if you cannot safely leave or get home to your apartment then what does it matter if there's a roof deck and a gym in the building? I would have preferred to be in a walk-up building with no amenities then to live here.
When I first moved in, 3 elevators was barely enough to serve 900 apartments which are mostly converted into more bedrooms than the natural floor plan (aka more people that need to use the elevator). Within a few months of living here I was stuck in the elevator not once, but twice. One

The apartment itself is alright. What really sucks though is that the bathroom is HELLA SMALL. I mean, I'm already a small girl but I take up a lot of space...
The lights on the 26th floor have been flickering for a few days now and I'm surprised the staff hasn't called anyone to fix it.
Elevator is also pretty small. 6 people already crowds it inside.
Other than those, the staff is friendly (they better be!) and at least this apartment is at a convenient place (near columbus circle).
