I got my start in this exciting career in 2004 and I haven't looked back since. I specialize in women's color, grey coverage, highlights, women's hair cuts, and formal styles. Besides working behind the chair I have worked on set for video shoots, styled for runway hair locally and in New York for fashion week in 2015.
I have styled for countless weddings and editorial work through out my career. In 2019 my team and I were honored to be awarded "Best Salon" by Arizona Foothills Magazine. In 2021 I made the decision to move to a studio suite and I LOVE IT! My clients now have that "VIP" vibe and that one on one attention that they deserve.

I went to Salon Knotti after being introduced to stylist Lauryn on Instagram. I went and got a great trim and wash and rescheduled for a beautiful partial caramel highlight. Lauryn is super professional, fun and it feels like I'm visiting a good friend even though we just met. Poor girl knows my life story now. My highlights look amazing and I think I found a salon I can finally ditch the box dyes for. Very affordable with great results. I highly recommend!

I can not rave about Salon Knotti enough! Their professionalism and inviting atmosphere is a treasure. I have never walked away not pleased. Lauryn is incredibly gifted and is always willing to go above and beyond. The lady's who work there are a powerhouse of a team. You are in the best hands with them. Also with the current climate of the world it is reassuring that they adhere by the mask mandates.

Deborah has been doing my hair for years, and I have always loved the end result. Whether I come in with a specific look in mind, or have zero clue what I want, she always gets it right. How have I not reviewed Knotti until now?! I have been going to Marissa, the owner, for about 7 years now. She makes my hair look gorgeous, and she does it quickly, which I have always appreciated because I have to do my appointments before work. I absolutely trust her with my hair! I also went to Jude for a few months while Marissa was out on maternity leave, and she's great as well! Even though I now live about a half an hour away from Knotti, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else!

I have been going to Teresa for about 3 years now, every since someone recommended I go to her back when she was at ETCH. This girl makes hair an art form! I don't trust anyone else with my hair. Teresa has done everything from white blonde to dark brown & every stage in between on my hair! Each stage more beautiful than the last! I have never walked out disappointed or upset with her work! Go see her!!!! You will NOT regret it, she's fabulous!

The salon itself is simple and beautiful, and easy to get to from the freeway. I have been seeing Teresa for years and won't go anywhere else! She gets to know your hair and gives you a truly custom cut. She does wonders with my curly hair and helped me get through the awkward growing out of my hair after having a baby. And her coloring skills... my hair always looks natural and great on me! (Cause who cares what it looks like on someone else?!) She's also SO personable and a pleasure to spend 1-2 hours talking with. I hate to share my hair secret with all of Yelp! but she deserves it

Platinum blonde is tricky when you're a natural light brown, and I've had several stylists swear they can get the color I want - but then they ended up giving me a blonde shade with a yellow (and once a lavender!) undertone. They also wanted to put their own

Great new salon! I walk in and they immediately offer iced tea, coffee or water. The salon is very clean and spacious. The washing sinks have head supports in them, making it very comfortable.
I was referred to Jude, after my stylist moved, and she did a great job giving me a perfect blond and the cut I wanted. She even offered pointers on styling!
I'm definitely going back.

Marissa and her crew are seriously the best of the best! My hair never looked this good ever in my life until I found Marissa 2 years ago! Now I won't let anyone beside the Knotti girls touch my hair! She is not only fully skilled, but so talented! And you can't buy talent.. it's born with you :-) besides, Knotti is such a beautiful studio you will feel right at home hanging out with your girlfriends :-)

Marissa has been doing my hair for around 4 years and she has never let me down! She does a great job cutting and highlighting my hair and is also so fun and awesome to talk to while she does it! Her new salon is so cute and welcoming and totally chic like she is! The shampoo chairs/bowls are super comfortable - the most comfortable I've ever sat in!I love that this salon is tech savvy too - you can schedule your appointments on Schedulicity and she uses Square for her point-of-sale. Super easy peasy and convenient!

Jude started styling my hair about 6 years ago, and she consistently does an incredible job. I have curly hair (and a lot of it), and I always walk out thrilled with the result. She's also one of the only people I trust to cut my hair. She's able to thin it and add layers and it ends up being perfect. Highly recommend this new salon and the experienced stylists who work here!
