Refractive Surgery or Laser Vision Correction refers to a group of minimally invasive procedures that reshape the cornea with laser energy to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness, and astigmatism to help reduce or possibly eliminate the need for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
These procedures are customized to provide the best possible results for each individual patient, allowing your surgeon to correct the very specific refractive errors that obscure your vision. There are several different laser vision correction procedures available to help patients achieve clear vision without glasses or contacts.

Dr. Hartzell is an excellent doctor. I have been going to her for several years. My husband also went to her after getting an exam at another eye office, where the exam revealed a need for further care. We were concerned enough to seek a second opinion from an actual ophthalmologist. Dr. Hartzell gave him a thorough exam and said that what the person said in the previous exam was incorrect and there was nothing to worry about with my husband's vision. Yes, this is a small office, without support staff. For us, this is a positive, not negative. We have never had any issues with insurance

I do apologize that I spent extra time with the patient preceding your mother's appointment. I understand your frustration when doctors run behind. I hope you will reconsider your combative behavior toward me the next time you or your family member require extra attention from a physician. I am sorry I was unable to see your mother as you did not have her health insurance cards or any health insurance information available at the time of her appointment and you chose not to proceed with her appointment. I strive to take excellent care of my patients. I will take your feedback into consideration

I played a lot of back and forth phone tag trying to schedule an appointment as no one ever directly answers the phone. Annoying....but the woman I talked to had a nice voice and my doctor did give my family member a referral here for an eye exam.
We arrived early to fill out paper work. When we arrived there was no other there to greet us. No place to sign in. Nothing...so we sat there. Appointment time came and we still sat there. Ten minutes later the doctor comes out escorting another patient out and makes a new appointment for them. They make small talk and and talk about how she hasn't hired
