I think the layout and the rooms at the Rowan are very nice and spacious. I’ve been living here a couple months and I can’t get over the amount of bugs I see every single day in the kitchen. We have requested pest control multiple times, and they’ve come 3 times, but to no avail. I have been seeing German roaches, palmetto bugs, and baby roaches, which means they’re still reproducing somewhere. When I first moved in, there were cockroach droppings in my dresser, which I had to clean. I’ve spent so much money on raid and insecticides but they still keep coming back! I’ve talked to the

I was assisted by Andrew L. He was very pleasant and helpful. I was not sure what I was looking for but after speaking with Andrew, I was reassured that I will leave The Rowan confident. We sat in the office and talked and walked around the complex. I was showed the amenities and accommodations if becoming a resident. I enjoyed the tour and polite conversation. This apartment complex is scary. I would never tell someone to live here, the crime rate is number 1 in Richland county via the information given to us by the sheriff in the Rowan clubhouse meeting they hosted. People have died here, multiple times. Cars broken into, and people getting robbed. I would never recommend living here unless you have protection. The staff was awesome, management not so much.. but the staff is always helpful and the rent has gone up. If you're gonna spend more than 625 dollars go spend it somewhere better. Good luck in your lease search, just anywhere but here.

Have been living in the Rowan since 2018 (called the Southern @1051 back then). Honestly, it wasn't a good experience living here until the new management took over. Seeing many great improvements (mainly in efficiency, renovation and community activities). For example, two years ago the AC in my unit was requested for repair for literally over 10 times but none of them has it repaired to cool properly (it was a 95 degree hot summer) but it only took the new maintenance team once to fix.

I moved out well over a year ago.. lived there for a few years before it was even the Rowan, when I moved in there was carpet chunks missing from my bedroom, I was told not to worry about it because I would be getting new carpet upon remodel, (that never happened). Upon move out I paid my final billing statement (a charge for a broken cabinet), now here we are over a year later and I’m getting another billing statement as if I haven’t paid it already. I’ve called 4 times and left messages, emailed, and gotten no response. Is this the only way to get your guys attention?

Do not sign a lease here!!!! They will intentionally rip you off! They will promise you a discount, get you to sign the lease and not give the discount to you. No router for the WiFi and no tv for the family room, both are supposed to be in lease. It's really dirty and walls are paper thin. Super sketchy area!!!! Lock your doors!!!!!!! They admitted they are getting audited, no wonder why they are ripping us off! I'm getting in touch with a lawyer for breach of contract!!

Between the lack of communication, shootings, dirty apartments, payment request for repairs we had already requested to be repaired, rude and entitled management, I give this place a 0/10.
There were so many shootings and police visits last year and the residents never received… one email from management letting us know what was going on. This is basic protocol for most student living complexes.
They do not care about the safety of their residents and that’s evident.

Unfortunately resigned a lease here. The day I was supposed to move in I was told they didn’t have a unit available & didn’t know when they would have one available, even though my move in date was clearly on the lease I signed two months prior. After demanding to talk to someone else twice, they finally told me they were “seeing if they had a one bedroom unit available”. After waiting in the office for an hour, they handed me my keys for the one bedroom unit. It amazes me how this place will show you the model to the place that you feel like will be your new home.. to sign the lease PAY an “installment” and you get to your apartment and it’s filthy everything is broken, the floors are so dirty, other people’s clothes and shoes are still in the rooms, roaches EVERYWHERE and the door was open when it was… time to move in. My daughters were not assigned to their apartment with the right roommate. One of them also wanted a specific room, which would have happened of they originally put the right roommates together. I have been contacting them since the apartments were assigned and assured that they would be fixed shortly. Never happened! We are still waiting and now every time we try to talk to the person in charge, they seem to always be busy.

The Rowan is quite possibly one of the worst places you could live. This company has no regard for its tenants. They move people into dirty apartments that aren't complete, there's essentially no security whatsoever, the staff does not care about the issues that occur in its complex. There are shootings nightly, and was even a murder a month ago,… of which we had to find out through police chatter and not even through our rental company. If you’re thinking about moving to the Rowan DO NOT DO IT!!! In my experience they do not care about the residents!!! They will expect you to pay rent every month but every month there is something broken that needs to be fixed or some problem where you have to run after MAINTENANCE/ OFFICE to get it fixed. Literally you will have to HARASS THEM.… Sean (the manager) always claims “here’s here to work with residents” but fails miserably at doing so. He also has LIED straight up to me on several occasions. Everything from saying he would take care of my pest problem

I would recommend the Rowan because of the cool 3 story apartments. The rooms are pretty big and I really like that there is a patio and that the apartments comes with all of the appliances and furniture. Definitely a big plus in my book. The renovations look like they’re going to be dope too, so I look forward to seeing them. Also the office staff is incredibly nice! Highly recommend!

DO NOT. I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE. I don't even know where to begin!!! I guess we could start by talking about all of the gun shots that happen on a regular basis. Including my neighbors car having 3 bullet holes in it. There's always trash everywhere. Need something fixed? FORGET THAT. Took over a week to get my washing machine fixed and sever months to get my dish washer fixed. You pay for things like the pool and gate but neither of those ever work. My ceiling was leaking when I moved in and I am currently in the final days of my lease and MY CEILING STILL LEAKS. The office staff are

These apartments offer the largest floor plans I have ever seen for the lowest prices. The apartments also look great and the amenities that come a long with living here are great, they have a full basketball court, outdoor sand volleyball court , swimming pool, and an impressive fittness center. They also have shuttles that leave on the hour every hour. I would definitely recommend this community to students looking for a great place to live.

The day you first move into copper beech you love it. It's so spacious and has a nice pool etc. but then your walls are super thin. And there's trash and tire popping glass all over the parking lot. You get bugs all the time and there's no recycling. OR your neighbors are super loud, are possibly in an Asian gang, or selling something drug related. Plus I found out today the deposit you put down is really a redecorating fee that's nonrefundable. So thanks copper beech!

These apartments are in a gated community with ample space inside each apartment. However- the gate is always broken and the large apartments are a trade off for poor maintenance response and rowdy neighbors. The floors are so thin you can hear the folks above you walking around and talking. The college kids that live here are rowdy, disorderly and constantly drunk. I watched them shoot fireworks at each other in between buildings and parked cars! On the weekends there is never any parking.
