I currently live at paseo place and it i wouldn't recommend living here. Ever since the start, the management is shady. Me and 2 other girls were apartment hunting and we told the girl it was just us 3, she knew that and she said we should sign to get a 500 dollar gift card. It was my first time, and i believe they took advantage of how much we didn't know. We signed early in April of 2021 for the Fall August 2021. Then in August, they said "so you might get roommates, you might, but its not for sure." They lied. They knew we were getting roommates and they didnt tell us from

I recently renewed my lease at Paseo Place because I love the property so much. It is central to everything- campus, the Arc, Trader Joe’s, and lots of places to get food! It is so convenient to be able to walk downstairs and get groceries or a smoothie at Samba, sushi from Just Sushi To Go, and coffee or some food from Coffee n Talk. All of the community assistants are very helpful, Natalie helped me answer questions I had with my renewal. 11/10 would recommend living here! :)

I really enjoy living here. It’s super close to campus, literally walking distance and it’s super convenient for students. The resident assistants here are really helpful and easy to access. Natalie in specific is super helpful and always helps me out whenever I have questions or concerns about what’s going on the the complex.

I’ve lived at paseo since August and I love it! They are very interactive and make it a point to get to know the residents. They’ve always come to our apartment and fixed everything we needed. Great location too!

My daughter currently lives at Paseo Place. I feel safe knowing she is close to campus and that there’s security on property. I love that she has her own kitchen and how helpful maintenance has been to her. The office staff is also very kind to her. She will be renewing soon.

Paseo Place is super conveniently located! It is right on campus and really close to a lot of food areas. The stores right under the building are a huge bonus as well! Whenever maintenance is needed they are super quick with the responses and fix something same day most times! Leilani the CA in the office is also super helpful with any questions I had and with leasing. Love living here!!

Paseo place apartments are so nice and I absolutely love my apartment! It's so close to campus and has some of the best and most helpful staff. Most everyone in the complex is welcoming and friendly, but overall, it's a great community to live in.

Not a bad place for your student to live while at SDSU but plan on getting nickeled and dimed, especially when your student moves out. Staff is hard to reach and only moderately responsive.

I lived here for two years trust me it is not worth it. I actually do agree with the previous review about this complex taking advantage of students. I was also charged hundreds of dollars in late fees for renter's insurance that I had for the two years I lived there. I brought it up with the office several times before they stopped charging me anymore and I was never reimbursed for the fees I had to pay.

Upon move out I got charged for damages that were already in my unit upon move-in and for messes made by my randomly selected roommates after I had already moved out.

The last several

My daughter will be attending SDSU as a graduate student in fall 2021. We have been looking for nearby housing for awhile for her. This complex is amazing! It's right next door to SDSU campus, super clean and beautiful. What really sold me was talking with the office peeps, Mariah, Danielle and Taylor. They were so incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I feel we really made the right decision for my daughter. She is so excited!!! Thank u, office staff!!!

All the reviews above 1 star are completely fake. This company lacks management and takes advantage of students. Their "management" makes you feel like a second grader being told not to do something by some higher authority. The cost is outrageous please don't bother.

DONT LIVE HERE!!!

Please take my word for it! I am a freshman and I wish someone would have told me not
To live here! You will not be able to leave! They are so rude even when I told them I am having a hard time paying rent due to pandemic! Don't come here!!! Also it's dirty and way to expensive! YOU CAN FIND BETTER FOR LESS! So not worth it! DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY!

This place does not care about the students who rent out the apartments at all. I had to get my dad involved any time I needed something done and only once I got my dad to email or call them would they respond back and try to fix the mistake I had been trying to get them to correct for weeks. As a college student who pays her own rent, it's ridiculous that I would have to go through the lengths of contacting my dad to get something done in the apartment that I pay for. The office staff and maintenance workers are amazing but upper management is a joke

The front desk staff is only nice when you get you to live here. They are not straight forward in terms of money, but that is another issue.

Paseo place is a very expensive apartment in terms of the quality it actually offers. If you live with people you do not know, be aware that you will be responsible for both yours and your roommates' action, as part of the contract here. Be careful, the management is not your friend.

It is particularly not a good place for serious students because of the perpetual party scenes they have here, even on weekdays, and I was told in the beginning it is

I've lived in paseo for a few months now and there's some things people should consider before signing the lease. This is very expensive (almost 1 grand per person for a double/shared room). The WiFi is AWFUL, I had to go to the library every single time I needed to do an assignment because blackboard will not even load. The office and maintenance staff is very friendly and helpful which is nice, however the security guard John Stoffer wrote a report on our apartment for having 20 people over with music even though we turned it off and left before 10 pm. He wrote that we had over 50 people

DONT SIGN THE LEASE! My "room" is literally a walk in closet with no Central AC. When I asked why I was in a closet, they referenced the lease and said "rooms can vary in size" and that they don't promise AC. Unbelievable! Im also sharing the closet with a roommate.

Overpriced. Website is misleading. A two bedroom unit is nearly $4000. Website leads one to believe the unit listing price is a per room cost, however they are stating "shared" price to split one room...waste of our time to drive from Newport to see as a potential second year apartment for our SDSU student.

I'm in love with this place and I've only been here for 3 months! I moved in early August and my experience thus far has been amazing. The management team is so friendly and makes me feel at home everyday. I couldn't be happier living here this is such an upgrade from my living situation last year. This location is life changing!! It's only a two minute walk from central campus and its very convenient. This complex is gated as well which is nice because I always feel safe when I'm walking around at night which is very important to me. If there is ever a problem with my

The worst place to live. On top of our $1200 deposit they are asking for $1500 MORE!! They take advantage of students and charge you for everything. Our fridge drawers kept breaking and I told them not fix them till the end of the year so we didn't have to keep paying to replace them but they did anyways. Same with our blinds, chairs, table, even the couch broke. We got charged for stuff that was broken when we got there. We also have professional cleaners and still were charged for cleaning. The women are so rude in the main office and make you not want to ever get your mail. Worst place

I have lived here for the past 8 months and I would strongly suggested not signing a lease at this place. We moved in in August and nothing was completed on time, which meant that construction workers entered and our apartment at all hours, leaving in their midst armpit sweat stains on the walls and dirty footprints on our floor.

This place is a huge party complex. Granted, its practically on campus but for the price we pay you might as well live at frat row and pay what we pay to have your own room. Our balcony has been covered in vomit from our neighbors above for months and despite numerous
