Sandbar

My wife and I are fortunate to have Sandbar just a few minutes away from home. This has always been a local favorite of ours. Food is always outstanding and the dining experience overall is very pleasant. I am pleased that Sandbar implements safety precautions, during this time, to ensure the well-being of the staff and patrons dining at this establishment.

Amazing spot with incredible entrées. Never had a bad meal here. It's a bit pricey but worth the experience. Great place to celebrate a major milestone. Service is impeccable.

Turned away because a member of our party was not vaxxed due to a heart condition. Have spent the last several Valentine's Days there...never again....while it's convenient for us, it's overpriced and gives small portions - there are much better options up the road in Huntington and that is where we will be taking our business from now on.

Dinner was so delicious at Sandbar. The seasonal decor atmosphere was beautifully decorated. My host and waitstaff warm and friendly. The duck tacos were beyond- we ordered another, the warm goat cheese salad, and Sandbar burgers- DELICIOUS! Thank you. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

Food was not good here-- VERY overpriced. Also only allows in vaxxed people with a very segregative practice and honestly disgusting. Save your $$ and support another establishment that doesn't enforce government bootlicking. They also don't allow kids either without a vax.

If you are looking for a special place to have a Bridal Shower or any party look no further than Sandbar in Cold Spring Harbor. I had a Bridal Shower Brunch and the atmosphere in the private room was classy, elegant and first class. First of all the food is AMAZING from lobster rolls to hamburgers and everything in between. ( and don't forget the chick pea fries, they are to die for.) You will not be disappointed. And as good as the food is the staff is even better. The management team of James and Dan is top notch. There are many restaurants on LI which aspire to be first-rate, Sandbar actually achieves that in their menu, service and ambiance. The space is warm and beautiful and the service is wonderful. The food was especially delightful with a wide range of options. The margarita flat bread is simple but so good. The salads were fresh and in season and well composed and the seabass entree was elevated and generous and full of flavor. The pumpkin cheesecake was a marvelous end to a lovely meal.

What an amazing but quaint place. Delicious food and drinks. Small menu, not overwhelming. Everything done to perfection, to the littlest detail. Owners come out and serve! Worth a trip to go. Beautifully done. Will be back for sure.

A high-end, comfortable vibe, where you will feel at home in a suit or jeans. Food did not let down. A lot of variations for dietary restrictions. We were in a booth and felt very comfortable with our 5 year old. Will return.

Aesthetically pleasing and comfortable. Just a really nice atmosphere.
The entire staff was very nice.. Our waiter Alex was excellent and very helpful. The manager Jim came over and also checked in to ensure we were satisfied. Good guys!
As for the food. The oysters and grilled octopus salad both were delicious.
The cocktail list was very interesting. We went with the Baked Apple Old Fashioned. It was tremendous! I would go back just to have a couple more of these fantastic drinks!
