Sonoma County native, Kristina Daya, lives our her passion daily creating locally sourced, seasonal and organic food experiences for all to enjoy. While journeying throughout the Mediterranean, Chef Kristina cultivated her craft-mindfully creating inspired menus using the best ingredients possible.
She believes the relationship she creates with the farmers is essential to the overall vision. Her specialities include food and wine pairing experiences + full service weddings and events. Mazza Catering was established in 2011 and has been welcomed by the community with open arms. An entire culture of eating, making a celebration out of gathering and being present in the moment.

I've had the pleasure of working with Kristina for two different bachelorette parties in wine country. In both instances she was responsive, flexible, personable, and the food impressed the whole group!
My most recent booking with Kristina was made pretty last-minute due to Covid. I was surprised Mazza was available. Kristina explained on event day that she had actually reserved that week as a week off, but because I was a return client she wanted to make an exception and work my event. This kind of vendor/client relationship goes a looong way with me. Thank you, thank you!

We recently spent my wife's 60th birthday in California wine country and decided to hire Mazza Catering for the special birthday dinner. It was extremely disappointing. Mazza and Chef Kristina Daya came highly recommended from the owner of the house we rented. Kristina's correspondence emphasized how special it would be. She signs each email with: "We look forward to exceeding your highest expectations." So we decided to splurge on a $170-per-plate dinner. Mistake.

My girlfriend lost her sister way to young to an undiagnosed heart condition. Imagine burying your family member during COVID, you are forced to keep it small, not having her friends around (or yours) when you need them the most. Mazza made the family feel loved and nourished with the charcuterie boxes they delivered to them for me. They were… timely, followed proper protocol making everyone feel safe, and held my hand as I navigated a difficult and unknown situation. They were hands down the best catering experience I have encountered. Kristina is so kind and patient. Their food is fresh

Kristina and her team are really outstanding. I have used her for two very important family events and both have been wonderful, perfect and delicious. She is reliable, helpful, dedicated and super nice. The food was amazing and everyone enjoyed it! I would highly recommend her for an event or private dinner.

Kristina and her team were extraordinary. We've been through quite a rollercoaster ride, what with COVID cancelling our original wedding, then rescheduling for a much smaller event... but through it all, Kristina was an absolute rock. Reassuring, accommodating, and of course, her food was amazing. Everything got rave reviews from our guests, from the appetizers to the mains, and the stunning dessert and cake. I couldn't recommend her more!

Because we were unable to celebrate a 'normal' Thanksgiving with family members, I ordered Mazza cheese & charcuterie boxes for two groups of our extended clan. The boxes were SO beautiful and received rave reviews, 'Your cheese themed platter was thoroughly enjoyed by all!'

Kristina and team are amazing! The food, the staff, the delivery was all excellent! She arrived hours early with a large staff, prepped dining tables, displayed the best table of appetizers. Created a dinner that tasted Mouth watering amazing! From beginning to end Kristina's delivery was perfection! Highly recommend!

Mazza Catering helped me host my husband's 40th birthday and the event turned out amazing. Kristina was on top of it from the start, she helped me plan the food, answered all my questions always in a timely manner and made sure we had everything we needed during the event. My guests loved the food and I am so grateful to Kristina and her team for being so sweet and attentive.

Kristina made our celebration fantastic! We hosted a dinner party for 6 while on vacation in Healdsburg and she was professional, warm and helpful. The food was delicious, the presentation was lovely, her communication before the event was timely and responsive, and she complemented the Birthday we were celebrating with her service while not being intrusive. The chicken is definitely the best chicken you've ever had! I'd like to return to Healdsburg soon just to experience Mazza's extraordinary food and service!

I can't believe how lucky we were to work with Mazza Catering for our wedding! We had an intimate outdoor dinner with 15 guests in Mendocino County. Every guest commented on how impressed they were with the menu and the service-everyone agreed that Kristina and her team made our dinner feel like a cozy home-cooked family gathering!
Additionally, Kristina is so responsive and so quick with paperwork turnaround. Just incredible.
I'm honestly not sure how I can recommend Mazza Catering more than 100%.

I couldn't recommend Mazza and Kristina more! As someone who works with a lot of vendors on events, Kristina is the ideal vendor -- easy to communicate with, extremely responsive, friendly, and at the end of the day, the food is DELICIOUS! I highly recommend Mazza Catering for any catering needs, whether it be a small intimate dinner or a large event. I'm already trying to figure out when I can work with Kristina again! Truly a pleasure to work with and the quality of the food is as good as it gets.

Working with Kristina was a wonderful experience. She was very flexible with all our requests with only a two week notice. Wow! Just visited Sonoma and one of the highlights was the amazing meal that Kristina prepared for our 4-person group. After a long day of hiking and wine tasting, Kristina met us at our rental house and prepared a custom meal for our hard to cook for group (some were gluten-free, shell-fish allergies, vegan and combinations of all). Everyone… was blown away by the amazing fresh food, and Kristina had even given us a mission of what wines to find during the day to complement the meal. A bonus was getting to chat with Kristina and learn more about what she loved about the area. Outstanding
