Linda has been working in the field of Early Childhood Education for the past 26 years. Linda's experience includes teaching and managing childcare centers in Cambridge and Newton Massachusetts. Throughout her career Linda has been actively involved in, and contributed to the success of many programs that teach violence prevention, promote diversity and an emergent curriculum; focusing on developing social skills, problem solving skills and fostering independence.Linda's children attend Melrose Public Schools.

Our babies will have a warm cozy environment. We will kick off our shoes and put on our slippers and settle into a day of nurturing, and respecting the individual needs of your little one. Our Toddler Classrooms will have teachers observing and responding to your young child's natural interest to develop physical coordination and care of themselves.

Parents are encouraged to take a moment when dropping off and picking up their children to communicate with their child's teachers.

I do not send my children here. I am reviewing based on the interaction (or lack there of) from both directors, Linda and Melissa. I have tried on several occasions to email and call for availability for my two children, or even for a wait list. I had heard tremendous things about this daycare from countless people, but based on the unreturned phone calls and emails, I'll be considering other daycare options for my two kids.

Having visited several local day cares, it was immediately clear that Teachable Moments was higher quality in several areas. The teachers seem very experienced and qualifed as well as being very friendly and great with both kids and parents.
Having one child currently attending, I am amazed at the different opportunities and experiences they provide the kids outside of simply providing day care. There are always guest speakers and outside exhibits visiting to provide a wide variety of educational experiences for the kids.
The hours of operation are very generous and allow for a lot of flexibility
