The philosophy of Canterbury Children's Center is to provide quality care in a nurturing environment that helps foster the growth and development of children. Our goal is to create a developmentally appropriate program that meets a child's needs individually as well as in a group. We believe that children learn through their play and that their experiences here at the center should be joyful and fun.
We offer a well-balanced approach meeting the social, emotional, physical, and intellectual needs of the children in our care. At the same time, we take our responsibility to parents very seriously, providing them with a safe, happy, and responsive place for their child while they are at Canterbury.

Services
Canterbury Children's Center is both a traditional Preschool and full-time childcare center, open year-round, 52 weeks per year, from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM. Canterbury holds several fundraisers during the year. Profits are used to enhance the student experience by improving the playground, purchasing supplies, and offering extra enrichment opportunities. Past fundraisers include Mabel's Labels, Prince Pizza Certificates, Calendar and Basket Raffles, Fuddrucker's and Honey Dew Donuts days, Square One Art, and Scholastic Book Fairs.
