This was a terrible experience for our family, most especially our dad. I don't live nearby, so I had to trust that what they say they do....they do. They sell you hard on how great their facilty is and the care and services they provide. I spoke on the phone, my sister visited the facility in person. When my dad came here for rehab he was supposed to have an air bed, it didn't arrive till day 9 of his stay. Excuses and apologies were made, but that doesn't change the fact that it was overlooked. Consequently he ended up with an unstageable bed sore. Nursing staff seem to have a complete disconnect

I spend 5 weeks at Arcadia. Most of the staff during the day were great!! The night nurses were very unkind. One nurse started screaming that my niece broke the electrical bed and no one told her. A CNA had to tell her to calm herself. Her name was Kathy. Always kind and caring while my husband was around but the dark side came out at night. The rehabilitation was excellent!! I was transferred to West Florida where the nursing staf was excellent but I think those who took care of me at Arcadia were just as good, if not better.

My grandmother is currently a resident of this facility. Throughout the pandemic my family has struggled coming to terms with not being able to visit in person. The activities staff has gone above and beyond to make weekly FaceTime visits with our family so we can see how she is doing. Even throughout the many changes in management, the staff is always very quick to return any phone calls with questions regarding her care. Our family is extremely thankful and feel blessed to have so many caring staff members take care of my grandmother, day in and day out. We will always recommend Arcadia Health

No one wants to wake up and go to a nursing home or rehab, but if you have too i recommend Arcadia. My family was in this very situation a month ago. We were distraught. We toured three facilities and Arcadia was the cleanest and the staff was the friendliest. The care and therapy was beyond our wildest dreams. Thank you for giving my mother back independence and hope.

While no one or no place is perfect, we are very glad to have dad here and here's why:
Overall, the staff has worked hard to help him from therapies to comfort and even the things no one likes to have to think about. One misunderstanding was handled extremely well by the administrator, and the business office went above and beyond to help up with so much Medicare paperwork, etc.
So, I'm not going to say any place is perfect, but this team has definitely earned our respect and confidence for dad's continued care.

Please don't put your family member in this facility. I would hate for you to have the experience my mother had to endure below.
My grandmother passed away at this facility and they never called her only daughter (my mother), who lives in another state. The social worker spoke to my mother numerous time, the nurse spoke to my mother directly and had taken down messages and was well aware of her contact information.
The way our family found out was completely shameful - my sister came by the facility to visit my grandmother (all the way from California) and the staff gave my sister a very hard

Three years away from my dads stay at Arcadia and I still am so hurt at the numerous things my dad was denied. He was denied in the presence of his wife and myself his daughter who was at the time 55 years old. All of these things lead to his rapid decline in his health. He was denied help eating . He was almost blind from a stroke he had the year before. They were trying to force an 85 year old man to walk on his own when he walked with a walker when he came in. They gave him his fluid pills at night and then did not want to come help him to the rest room. They made fun of him using the rest room
