I have a close friend who lives at Bay Breeze and I visit her twice a week. My experience has been very positive with the staff. They are willing to help and respectful whenever I've asked them anything. Particularly helpful is Ro at the front desk. She goes above and beyond what's needed to help out. I gave a four star rating because like any other health care facility they struggle with staffing shortage which makes the job more difficult for the staff they do have.

AWEFUL EXPERINACE. I called to get more information as I am seeking placement for my adult disabled sister. I spoke with someone from the administration who had a terrible attitude and was incredibly rude, I asked if there was someone more respectful I could talk to and she told me to have "a blessed day" and hung up.

The rooms look NOTHING like these pictures. They are run down, drab and tiny. I've had the most trouble communicating with anyone here, never a call back or email response. They've moved my dad 4 times without notifying my sister who in the power of attorney and paying the bill.
Looking to move him out of there asap.
UPDATE latest visit had us wondering where all of his clothes went??? Only 2 shirts and 1 pair of jeans left in his draw. All socks, underwear, sweatshirts (meaningful memories of places he'd been) shorts and pants are all "missing". Unbelievable!

Honestly the staff here should get their licenses revoked. The absolute horrific conditions these patients are in when they arrive at the hospital is the picture of pure negligence. There is no wound care or preventative measures being taken for skin breakdown. And the sad thing is, is that you KNOW BETTER.

I am not one to write reviews. Most of the time when I read poor reviews my first thoughts are you can’t please everyone. But I felt as if I really needed to write a review about this facility. My mother was in Bay Breeze for 3 days before my sister and I were able to visit. It is a very unclean environment that smells much like an outside portable toilet. The staff is VERY rude to patients as well as the family (honestly working in a prison environment would be more suitable for their bedside manner or lack of). I would advise anyone to take a tour past the front doors before bringing your loved

I would really like to give them zero stars. This place is HORRIBLE. They left our mother in her wheel chair on 3 separate occasions for over 5 hours without assistance. She didn't even have a call button. They weren't giving her bathes on a regular basis. The staff are terrible. When we tried to talk to several administrators nothing was ever corrected. Do NOT leave someone you love here.

Extremely satified with the care provided to my mother in law during her recent stay at Bay Breeze Rehab in Gulf Breeze. She received quality PT and OT during her 2 week stay. She actually says she enjoyed her stay; the daily activities and social interaction with both the other residents and the staff encouraged her progress in therapy, resulting in her returning home 2 weeks earlier than originally anticipated. She also enjoyed the food and felt the nurses, CNAs and techs were all helpful and responsive to her request and needs!

My 83 yr old mother-in-law was in rehab for 3 months and then their assisted living facility for a year before she passed away. I cannot say enough good things about their warm, loving, "happy" staff and their immaculate, bright sunny facility. She was so happy there and felt like she was in her own home surrounded by friends and family. She loved her private room with her private bathroom and her little patio and garden outside. They let the resident decorate their rooms however they want with their own furniture, pictures, plants etc. The dining room is like a nice restaurant and they have lots
