Services
Over 70% of our health is directly related to the food that we eat. Genetics is only a small part. Everything that we put into our bodies will either help us be healthy or contribute towards sickness. The key to health and good vision begins with a plant-based diet! Many health organizations recommend that we consume 7-13 servings of fruits and vegetables every single day, but less than 2% of the population actually does this.
There are many eyeglass lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes. Transition lenses - These lenses are made of dynamic materials that automatically adjust to the level of surrounding light.
We offer a wide selection at our San Antonio office, and our experienced team of eye care professionals can help you find the right contacts for you. There are many contact lens options available. Your eye care provider will take your lifestyle and vision correction needs into consideration when helping you select the right lenses for your eyes.
In addition to assessing your visual acuity, your eye care provider will test for common eye diseases, assess how your eyes are functioning together, and more. Serious health issues like diabetes and high blood pressure are often first detected during an eye exam. The American Optometric Association (AOA) recommends children have their eyes examined at 6 months old, three years old, at the start of school, and every two years until age 18.
Vision develops rapidly starting at birth and is tied to many developmental milestones, such as hand-eye coordination and reading. In the long term, your child's vision will impact how they learn, play, and interact with the world. While there may be some obvious signs of visual disorders, many vision problems can only be detected by a qualified eye doctor during a comprehensive eye exam.

Friendly staff and Dr. Maldonado really takes time to discuss the results from the eye exams. She is very informative about all vision options, and gives her expert opinion so that I can make an informed decision.

Top notch service, affordable eyewear, big selection for lenses, and scheduling of appointments is very reasonable. This has been my location for optometrist services for several years now. Dr. Sitterle and his staff are great!

I’ve been seeing Dr Sitterle for 10+ years and value the relationship that’s been established. Not a fan of having to change doctors all the time. He is thorough, efficient and very organized, plus he has a wonderful staff. Enjoy my visits!

Don’t go here if you need contacts. Paid $200 for eyeglass & contacts exam. Now only to be told contacts are on “back order” After making our own calls/arrangements, (they said they forgot to call us) we still can’t get my sons contacts. Very frustrating & would not recommend.
