Feedback from buyers often includes what a calming experience my inspection was, and how easy it was to understand my findings. I make every effort to have your inspection be a smooth and stress-free part of the process no matter if you're a first-time buyer with lots of questions or a seasoned investor in a hurry.
Below is the agreement to be signed prior to the inspection; it was created by InterNACHI, the professional organization of which I am a member. The insurance company that issued Acorn's Errors and Omissions Insurance Policy requires this agreement to be signed before any inspection is done. Please review the agreement carefully because it limits liability and specifies the terms of the contract.

Neal from Acorn Home Inspections recently performed our home inspection. He was patient, thorough, and responsive. This was our first home purchase and Neal was kind enough to take the time to explain everything to us and helped us understand what was needed/will be needed in future. He made what could be typically stressful and nerve-wracking an enjoyable and informative experience. Neal also had the inspection reports ready in the same day! My husband and I highly recommend Neal!

Neal of Acorn Home Inspections is incredibly detail-oriented and the type of person you want inspecting your home. He thinks ahead of renovations and is sure to give you fair warning about what could be problematic in the future based off what work is currently being done on a home. He is thorough and generous with his time and services.

We used Neal when purchasing our first home in Glen Ridge, and would highly recommend him!! He was an absolute pleasure to work with—he’s extremely professional, knowledgeable, and thorough. He was very honest and straightforward, not only detailing issues with the home, but also complimenting positive aspects of the house, which we would have otherwise overlooked. Neal was very patient, taking the time to clearly explain his findings, as well as answer any of our questions (and we asked quite a few!). His relaxed, yet professional, demeanor helped ease the stress of the home inspection process

We recently purchased our first home. We used Neal and Acorn and couldn’t be happier.
Neal was on time and incredibly professional. As life long renters to this point, we are largely clueless about the workings of a house, and Neal walked us through the entire home, explaining everything as he went. He highlighted all of the strengths and positives it had, clearly explained any issues there were and explained why they were issues. He gave us guidance on how to maintain things with once we owned the home to maximize their lifespans and effectiveness. He clearly cares deeply about his work, and

Neal with Acorn Home Inspections was so helpful in our home buying process. Neal took his time to walk us through the house and let us know what was to be expected throughout the entire home inspection process. He was able to let us know what the immediate needs to be fixed but also what to expect in the future. He is so knowledgeable and presents information in a clear way. In addition, he was a great recourse and gave us a list of names and companies that can help us in the future. Thank you again for a thorough home inspection!

Neal was a pleasure to work with. He responded quickly to emails, and was very professional throughout the process. His inspection and report were very thorough.
Especially with purchasing an older home, his work gave me comfort that I knew the potential issues and needed fixes, and would not run into too many surprises.
All throughout, Neal provided helpful insights and recommendations for how to tackle different problems. He even recommended against me spending more money for an unnecessary addition to my inspection. His honesty and helpfulness were greatly appreciated, and I would highly recommend
