Dan was very professional and detailed in inspecting the home that I was planning to buy (and eventually ended up buying). During the inspection, he explained what he was doing and answered any questions I had. As a first time home buyer, I knew next to nothing about how anything worked. He patiently taught me where the important places (power breaker, water switch, etc.) were, how they worked, and what to do if they didn't work. He was very helpful and friendly.

Dan from Vine Home Inspections completely exceeded my expectations for a home inspector. I had another house inspected by another home inspector and that experience left me with low expectations for home inspectors.
Dan was able to add me to his schedule on very short notice. He inspected every corner of the house top to bottom - inside and out. He inspected every appliance and explained how they work. Dan was a great inspector. He is an electrical engineer, very knowledgeable (I studied engineering too for a while). I had other inspections done and they were ok, but Dan was particularly thorough and very patient in answering all my questions - we are first home buyers. He also has a sense of humor!
The price was correct (if anything, slightly lower than my other inspections). I did have a good referral that pointed me to him.
He also managed to schedule the inspection on a very short notice (one day!), since we were in a hurry for a variety of reasons.
