The Computer Repair Connection is a locally owned computer repair shop conveniently located in South Austin on West Ben White Blvd just east of Manchaca. From MacBook to PCs, we repair them all. We serve the computer needs of Austin and surrounding areas and have been since 2015. We offer everything from virus removal to severe damage repairs on laptops, desktops, personal, and business computers.

Services
The Computer Repair Connection started as a onsite repair service specialized in small business and home computer repair. In order to lower our repair prices we decided to open a repair shop with low overhead which we could pass on as savings to our customers. After several years and hundreds of customers opening their doors to us, we have opened our own doors to our customers.
At The Computer Repair Connection diagnostics are completed within 1 business day. Once diagnostics are completed, you'll receive a call with the results of your diagnostics and a quote. At that time you are given the opportunity to approve or decline the repair. We have a huge stock of parts and in combination with a highly experienced technician, we can promise the quickest turnaround time in town.
Liquid damage repairs are handled in a special manner as the system needs to be completely cleaned and dried before any actual testing can be performed. If the cleaning fixes the issues, you only pay the $149 for liquid damage cleaning. If issue is not resolved, you will be quoted for the parts that need to be replaced at which time you can approve or decline the repair.
Broken LCD screens are a normal occurrence in our industry. We keep in stock many of the standard LCDs as well as screen assemblies for quick repairs. Replacement screens start at $79. If we have the screen in stock, repairs are completed within 1-2 business days. If the screen needs to be ordered, our orders normally take 2-4 business days to arrive.
Broken hinges can be a result of many things. Over-tightened tension screws from the manufacturer and weak plastics are the most common reason for failed hinges, followed by user damage. Sometimes the hinges are not broken, but have been ripped off of the top or bottom assembly. We commonly repair broken hinge issues and to make the repair a solid one, we will loosen the tension screw to ensure the actual issue is resolved.

I took a computer tower to them diangnose. When I went to pick it up after the diagnosis, they hardly answered any of my questions about what was wrong and made me feel very uncomfortable for even asking. When I got home and opened up the tower (the power supply was bad, so I was going to replace it), they'd left everything unplugged inside and basically screwed me over. Definitely worth finding a different vendor that values your business and cares about returning your equipment in at least the same or better (not worse) condition than when you brought it in.

It is never fun to have to take something in and be at the mercy of a tradesman but this place took care of me better than any other. I Took my laptop in to have it cleaned and deal with some cooling issues. The gentleman who helped was extraordinarily helpful and knowledgeable. I was given quote and an estimated time of completion. My expectations were blown out of the water. It was finished sooner than expected now runs like a dream. To top off the great service I was called 10 minutes before they closed that my laptop was ready and without having to ask I was told they would stay open for me

I recently had a great experience with Computer Repair Connection. My Dell laptop wouldn't start and after trying all the at home troubleshooting I took it in here for repairs. They ordered a new motherboard and replaced it within 3 business days, this is during all the COVID-19 craziness. I was so worried to trust a new business with something as important as my computer during this crazy time. They put my mind at ease and had a fast turnaround, professional communication (though funny enough they don't use email, just call) and friendly. Would recommend!

Would give 6 stars if i could! I took my laptop to geek squad and they said repair would be up to 3 WEEKS! so I decided to take it to the computer repair connection of Austin after hearing about it. I went in for a repair on my laptop and Juan gave me a diagnostic and repaired it in ONE afternoon and I picked it up the next day. This guy is awesome, professional, polite, honest and very good at what he does. Would highly recommend

We had all of our Internet cards updated! We had to make a clone of our server. And increase the RAM in some of the computers in our office as well as upgrade one of our operating systems to Windows 7 professional. Our point of contact was a gentleman name Juan. He was a very honest decent and professional individual! He even came after hours to make sure the job that he had done went perfect. As a dentist, that is very valuable to me to deal with that level of professionalism. These guys are top notch and I highly recommend them. Thank you

I got my computer repaired here and all I can say is they are great! I used the speedy check in not really knowing what to expect, but once I arrived I simply told them I had completed the speedy check in, they asked my name, verified my phone number and issues and just like that I was done. Took one minute! They called me about 3 hours later with my quote. I approved as the price was great,(hard drive replaced and data transferred for less than $200) and it was ready for me an hour later. That's just great. They really do create a great computer repair experience. I'm a Apple guy and this place
