Lance is an all star fellow and is totally trust worthy. Truly one of the kindest people I've met recently. Under promised and overdelivered!

Good guys fair prices extremely helpful. I'm writing this review because Google reminded me that I shared that bytes info with a customer just a few weeks ago.

Lance is honest and knows his stuff. I was very relieved he could fix my mac and got back to me promptly when it was fixed. Thank you, Lance!

I am not a novice with computers. Have build plenty over the years. I had an issue with a PC that I just could not figure out. They solved it in a few days. Had my kids with me and they were incredibly kind. Overall super happy with the service.

I had an old external hard drive that I couldn't access and a MacBook Pro that was wildly slow - like open the web browser, go watch a movie and hope a webpage will be loaded when it's over slow.
Lance was able to transfer my hard drive to a new one and replaced my laptop hard drive and it's like I live in the future - or at least the present! Wherever I am, I'm happy!

That Bytes! Computer Repair is my new go to for any computer related issues. Lance was responsive, knowledgeable, and helpful. He was able to diagnose an issue on my MacBook and repair it same day... a true lifesaver! Prices are totally reasonable. It is not often I come across a business worth crowing about, but Lance and That Bytes is worth a call if you need help with your PC or Mac.

Came here with a laggy and buggy laptop after having tried for a long amount of time to fix my issues. Lance checked on it for me and diagnosed the issue with it. He was extremely friendly and when I did what he asked of me my computer ran like brand new. Highly recommended!

Lance provides outstanding service, knowledge and friendliness. He repaired our Dell 2-in-1 Insprion 7000 and even did some research on an issue where it kept running hot...ended up helping us change BIOS settings that will greatly extend the life of the PC as well as the 2 others we have like it @ home.

He's friendly, funny and on-point. Hell, I like him even though he roots for the Green Bay Packers (and that says a lot coming from a Lions fan).

So grateful for this place! Lance rescued priceless photos from a corrupted external hard drive and brought an old laptop back to life for me. And all for a very reasonable price. Will definitely be returning for any and all computer needs in the future!

This guy is the best. Think Lord of the Rings computer wizard holed-up in a Miracle Max den of electronic enchantment time warped to south Austin and you have Lance, the owner of arhat Bytes. My laptop is my livelihood, so it's super stressful when there are problems with it. Lance literally comes to the rescue every time.

Lance was honestly the best! We took my nephews monitor in because it had tipped over and was broke. Lance spent days researching and trying to find the most affordable way to fix it. Unfortunately it wasnt cost effective to fix. I truly appreciate the time he put into trying to find a way to fix it and will be coming back with all of my electronic needs.

Lance is AWESOME!! He quickly assessed my PC issues and repaired my computer right away. I am very impressed and highly recommend anyone looking for repairs to go to That Bytes! I found my new forever PC Repair shop.

I chose this computer repair location because it was the only one still open after 5, and I am very pleased with the outcome. He quoted me a very reasonable price for the repair, was done the very next day, and charged me even less than what he quoted. He also stayed late to ensure I got my computer back as scheduled. My computer is now good as new, and I would recommend That Bytes to anybody who needs computer repair.

I took my Apple computer to the Apple store and they told me it would be $800 to send it off to see if it could be fixed. Thanks to Yelp, we found That Bytes to get a second opinion. They immediately were able to tell what the problem was, and in less than two days had it fixed for under $100. I will never use anyone else for computer service!

I went to this shop in hopes of getting my cd/dvd player to work on my Lenovo laptop. I was greeted by a friendly, very helpful man with a great attitude. Within 15 minutes he had resolved the problem with my computer and sent me on my way. I would highly recommend this shop to anyone who needs help with their computer.

I can't say enough about this place. Thought my old desktop was a goner, but now it's better than new. When I took it in, Lance asked key questions that led him to a smart hypothesis. A couple of days later he called me with his diagnosis and proposed fix. I told him to go ahead and a couple days later picked it up. Works perfectly, and the cost was less than I thought.

I forgot to write this review a few months ago. I would give him more than five stars if I could he's fast, efficient, knowledgeable and extremely fair on his pricing. Lance is the only person I'm going to bring all my future computer work to! I forgot my power cable in his office on a Saturday night where he had already stayed open extra long to finish my computer... and then drove back to his shop to help me get my power cable so that I wouldn't be without my computer the rest of the weekend! That's the kind of service that goes above and beyond!

I took my computer in on Tuesday the 23rd of January.
I called about it on Friday the 26th of January, with a promise that it would be looked at on that day. On Wednesday, the 3rd of February I told them that I would need to go and get it if it wasn't looked at that day. After all, it had now been 8 working days since I had dropped it off. FYI, this was my business computer.
I finally got it back Friday the 2nd of February and my receipt says I was charged for express service. Since when is 10 working days considered express service?

I called at near closing time on a Friday and he not only answered the phone but told me to bring my laptop in asap since I needed it for work over the weekend.

I was there in 15 minutes. He diagnosed the problem and had the part I needed! I was out of there in 15 minutes or so at a fair price!

He is very busy but took the time to help me out when i needed it most!!

Lance does amazing work and is very thorough. He is very popular and because of this sometimes he might not be able to get back to you right away but he's popular for a reason. Knows what he's doing. Highly recommended!

Lance is an honest and straight forward computer technician. It's a small shop but he was able fix my laptop within hours of me dropping it off. Fortunately he did not need to order a part and was able to do the repair quickly. Two other places in town don't have techs on site
so their lead times were days for a relatively simple repair of my charging port. Glad I found That Bytes on-line with great Yelp reviews.

I was so frustrated with myself when I accidentally installed malware on my HP laptop after installing some freeware for my son. I tried everything to get rid of it. Downloaded other programs to search for the malware and quarantine it. Ran various scans of the hard drive searching for the problems. But nothing worked. And it was making using any web browser impossible, as well as slowing down whatever program I was trying to run. The problem seemed to only be worsening. These guys are so badass. I was on deadline for a same-day project when suddenly my power cord wouldn't stay in and my battery ran out of juice. I called them about 2:00pm, and they had me come right over. While I waited they disassembled my system, located the warped connection point, heat molded it back into place (without buying -and waiting for- any extra parts), reassembled everything, refreshed/ compressed/ and virus-protected everything, before cleaning the dog hair out of my keyboard and sending me on my way within two hours!
