Dr. Matthew Flugstad, a Seattle native, studied Biochemistry at Westmont College in Santa Barbara before returning home to complete his studies at the University of Washington School of Dentistry. He lives locally with his wife Alexandra, daughters Ana & Mia and their dogs Rusty & Meli. Outside of the office, Dr. Flugstad enjoys traveling, skiing, jogging, movies, reading and barbecuing on his Big Green Egg.
His favorite local spots include the waterfront, Edmonds dog park, Five, Salt and Iron, and Revelations Yogurt. We are proud to announce that for the 7th year in a row, Dr. Flugstad has been voted a Seattle Met Top Dentist. We love our community, and we truly enjoy what we do and work very hard to provide each patient with positive dental experiences.

Unfortunately, as we age, things tend to get a bit cloudy (something we're used to in the Pacific Northwest).

I have being seeing Dr. Flugstad for over three years now. I think they are great, but I also have insurance. I referred my partner who doesn't have insurance and despite all of their work being paid in full after every visit their accounts of interactions with staff are very different from mine. Recently we had to reschedule a simple cleaning because of a medical emergency and the staff was not understanding of this and even seemed irritated. There appears to be a pattern at this point, so if you don't have insurance prepare to be treated like a second class citizen. We are fed up and going to

First time at Dayton and it was great from the moment I made an appointment. Super friendly front desk staff and doctors. They explained everything they did (which I love!) as the appointment went along. This didn’t affect their efficiency though. I had a thorough appointment and my teeth feel so clean! I will be back.
