Our practice offers a choice of procedures for enhancement of your natural vision. We endorse and use the NuVision facility and surgeons for most procedures. Everyone's vision care needs are unique. Technology is constantly changing. Only after a comprehensive eye examination can your doctor determine if you would benefit from a refractive procedure.
LASIK is a procedure which can correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism by reshaping the front surface of the eye. We offer the latest in technology for blade free all laser custom treatment. The treatment is very quick with the latest generation laser. Visual recovery is fast and comfortable.
The ICL is also known as a Phakic-ICL. The ICL is an alternative to LASIK, ASA, or Clear Lens Exchange for nearsighted people. The best candidates are between the ages of 21 and 45 with moderate to high amounts of nearsightedness. The outcomes are very predictable and provide excellent quality of vision.
These are bifocal implants. They are used in cataract surgery. P-IOLs are designed to provide far, intermediate and near focus after cataract surgery. Unlike a monofocal implant, which gives only one focus distance, the P-IOLs provide the more natural range of vision. These implants are safe as ordinary cataract implants and are designed to last a lifetime.

Went back for my second visit for my annual eye exam. I have VSP insurance and last year when I went I believe I paid around $15 with the copay. So this year I went back thinking I'm gonna pay the same thing. Much to my surprise after I finish my eye exam I was told my total was $136. Like whaaaa. The receptionist said the VSP didn't renew or kick in until December which I was totally caught off guard because I'm paying monthly for it and don't see why I can't use it whenever I want. Anywho, my thing is coming from Lens Crafters where there eye exam is $75 even w/out insurance

Dr. Richard Rigsby and staff are really great. They were recommended to me by a close friend a few years ago. I've never regretted becoming a patient. Care is thorough, friendly, and well explained. Prices are in line with other offices in the area. Have even had an expensive pair of glasses with substantial damage repaired here. Would recommend Rigsby & Rigsby to anyone.

Amazing doctor! Very thorough and always takes the time to explain every little thing to you. Before Dr. Rigsby I took my daughter to several other Opthalmologist, since my daughter has terrible vision no one was ever able to get her prescription correct. I was once even told she would not be able to drive when she was of age, since her vision was so bad. That was several years ago, now she is 18 and driving! I'm very grateful for doctors like him! They make the world of a difference for people like my daughter and myself.

I've been a patient of Dr. Rigsby for over 25 years and he has always been great. He takes the time needed to fully explain what he's doing and why, never in a hurry and always thinking of the patient. You do have to budget time for the exam because he is thorough and does not rush. I highly recommend Dr Rigsby for your eye care needs.

Best experience I've had getting eye exam and contacts! Dr Rigsby takes the time with you to make the best choice for YOU! Yes there is a longer wait time during appointments but it is definitely worth the wait for the quality of care I feel I was provided! This is not one of those offices that gets you in, gives an RX and takes your payment never to see you again. We tweaked my RX 3x and I couldn't be happier with the end results! Thanks Dr Rigsby!

First, let me begin by saying this rating is 100% only based on the customer service, or lack thereof that I received. I did not end up doing an eye exam at this location. I have already scheduled one elsewhere. I scheduled an appointment for my 4 year old and was slightly confused about insurance and coverage. A woman called me and asked all sorts of questions about insurance and scheduled my appointment. I was under the impression I would be paying a co-pay and we were fine and dandy. Upon getting there I was instructed to sign in. I'm not sure what the woman's name is but in the photo

I enjoy Dr. Rigsby's sense of humor and rapport with his patients. He takes care of my glasses and contact needs, as well as both of my children. When my 11 year old daughter wanted to try contacts, his staff worked with her for almost an hour - always friendly, always patient. We will be long time customers.

Today I was putting in my contacts and realized, geez I have not taken time to write my experience with this office. This is my first time ever needing glasses / contacts. I thought it was an age thing, but turned out I have needed glasses for a long time. Anyhow, everyone here was so helpful. Doctor Richard, is super nice and takes time to listen. I haven't been to an optometrist in over 3 years. I hate having my eyes checked, and I usually do not enjoy the company of optometrists. That being said Dr. Rigsby was your typical quirky optometrist. I chuckled to myself inside during my exam. None of that mattered when I picked up my glasses.
They do a phenomenal job and I have never seen better. Despite being apprehensive upon my arrival for my exam, I will be using Dr. Rigsby for the long foreseeable future. Thanks to everyone that helped me there. I would recommend their services to anyone. I am extremely happy with my results.

I wanted to go back to my old optometrist when I moved back to town, but it was too far. I'm so glad I came here to Dr. Rigsby though! The staff was so nice and Dr. Richard Rigsby was EXTREMELY nice! He took extra time to explain my condition and treatment options, more than any other optometrist EVER did! They even broke down my insurance benefits for me.
