Dr. Beth Groninger obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Indiana University in 1990. Before joining Plainfield Eye Care she did a residency in ocular disease at the VAMC in Danville, Il., Dr. Groninger has continued to follow in the footsteps of the founder of Plainfield Eye Care, Dr. Tom Maloney as well as his partner, Dr. Cory Shaffer, to provide the highest standards of quality in eye care.
A Hoosier by birth, Dr. Muessel grew up in Madison, IN. She went on to major in biology at Centre College in Danville, KY, where she was a pianist and played division III varsity basketball.
She attended IU School of Optometry and graduated in 2018 with distinction as a member of the Gold Key International Optometric Honor Society-a leadership honor given to graduates who demonstrate outstanding professional and ethical attitude through leadership and service to their profession.She was student president of Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity in 2016-2017 and volunteered in medical mission trips to Jamaica.

Dr. DeCook is originally from Grand Rapids, Michigan. She attended Ferris State University for undergraduate degree, and in 2019 obtained her doctorate in optometry from the Michigan College of Optometry at Ferris State. Dr. DeCook completed a specialized residency in Pediatrics and Binocular Vision at the IU School of Optometry.
Therese Cochran is a graduate of Indiana University, with a B.S. in health occupations, and a B.A. in Optometric Technology. She has been Practice Administrator of Plainfield Eye Care since 1994. As the practice administrator she is responsible for making sure that our team is running smoothly. She is establishes, trains and monitors new staff and procedures.
