In addition to determining eyeglass and contact lens prescriptions, we test for glaucoma, macular degeneration, dry eye, and other eye conditions that can lead to impaired sight.
We offer vitamin regimens among other treatment options (in-office and online ordering) to aid dry eye disease and diabetic retinopathy. Dr. Reckley stays educated on the newest contact lens technology in order to determine the perfect custom fit to accommodate the visual demands of each individual patient.

Services
Comprehensive Eye Exams: Exams include prescription determination for spectacles as well as an evaluation of your ocular health. Contact Lens fittings: Soft lens and gas permeable fittings, daily wear, monthlies, colored contacts, bifocal lenses, astigmatism contacts. We offer specialty contact lens fittings including scleral lenses and bitoric lenses.
If your insurance is in-network: We will collect any applicable co-payments and charges for non-covered services from you at the time of service. Please be aware that payment from your insurance company cannot be guaranteed, and benefits are not determined until your claim is processed. You may be financially responsible for any claim denied or unpaid by your insurance company.

During my visit in October 2020 in the middle of the pandemic the doctor was ranting about politics, not believing the the severity of covid, and not wanting to wear a mask. As a frontline healthcare worker this put me in a very uncomfortable position during my entire appointment. I would rather keep the conversation professional and about what. I am there for. Unfortunately, I can't see myself returning after that appointment.

I rarely write reviews, but I felt it is absolutely necessary to support Dr. Reckley. I cannot recommend his care highly enough! Dr. Reckley is very professional and cares about the best interest of his patients. I was blessed to find this place when I moved to Indianapolis, and I would recommend his practice to everyone.

Reckley got me in for an appointment the same day I called. I am considering Lasik, so Dr. Reckley gave me an exam to see if I was a candidate. His methods and thoughtful approach are appreciated. He helped me understand every step and what it meant for my daily life. I would recommend him to a friend!

I visited Dr. Reckley on the recommendation of a friend.
He is, by far, the best optometrist I've seen and I've been wearing corrective eye wear since I was a chubby lil 5th grader.
He's funny, professional and a fab eye doc all around. He answered my questions, discussed eye care with me and never pressured me about anything.
His staff? Well, they're awesome. Fun. Helpful. Knowledgeable. It was a great experience. Trying on glasses and having honest opinions was something I'd only experienced once before.
