Services
As we evolve, we have incorporated many styles and ability levels, including Expressive Yoga, Sacred Dance Fusion, Rhythm & Pose, Yoga with Weights, Toning & Sculpting, Vinyasa and Yin Yoga, but at the heart of each practice is still Kripalu. We call our unique blend Yoga Fusion. Private Sessions: Available by appointment online and in-studio.
Yoga Online includes 8 professionally filmed 30-minute videos you have access to for 8 weeks. When you register for the session you will have access to these videos on the Holistic Pathways YouTube channel. You can practice when it's convenient for you and as often as you wish during our 8-wk session.
Each session is approximately 30 minutes with the extended time you may devote to relaxing on your own. Classes follow a similar sequence for 8 weeks with variations of stretches and asanas with both long holds and flows. Each posture is complete with details and explanations so that you can flow through yoga mindfully and with breath (and without watching the computer the entire time).
Kripalu Yoga is a form of Hatha and Raja Yoga. Hatha yoga is a yoga that primarily focuses on the physical benefits of yoga, while Raja yoga introduces a meditational aspect of yoga. Kripalu yoga is about compassion--having compassion for your entire being and bringing awareness and gentleness into your mind, body, and spirit so that you can begin to experience life in a more peaceful way.
The practice embraces creative movement and seamless transitions, using a serpentine movement, called serpentine asana flow (which is often referred to as a slow dance) and offers a wide range of rhythmic movement. The movements explored are deeply rooted in nature and represent the elements in their state of being and moving.
