Up until this situation I've never had an issue with the store. I came into the shop for an oil change in June. After I finished I put my card into the machine and entered my pin to pay, I accidentally pulled it out too soon. The owner Antonio reassured me it didn't go through and had me reinsert the card to do it again.
After i left I noticed I got double charged. I went back to him and he said the sale only came up once for him, I showed him my bank statement and he wouldn't even look at it, stating there is no way, since the sale only came up once for him. I went

Very nice and friendly people who worked me into their schedule on short notice. I had my car inspected here and they were able to clearly tell me it’s issues and had no problem repeating themselves when I forgot. They were very patient with me as they pinpointed the diagnosis for my car. As a bonus, they didn’t charge me for the inspection! I highly recommend this place as they are very accommodating towards customer needs. 10/10 would return.

Very quick and professional shop! Took in for electrical problem and they were very fair on price and what needed to be done. Won't try and up sell you or charge for unesscerary repairs like other big businesses. Antonio is the man!

Just updating my review. Even though I was giving great customer service. I think the amounts they quoted for a repair was outrageous. I called another shop for the same thing & it was $1300 cheaper...smdh
You really do have to shop around because these repair shops will get you & it's crazy because they know people are struggling right now.

Outstanding service , I’ve been coming here for over fifteen years. He fixed timing belt , car brakes , catalytic converter , engine light and other issues throughout the years. Must give him a try and get an estimate from him before you go anywhere else. Great team and One of the BEST mechanic shops ( phenomenal-value & service) in all of San Diego.

Antonio and his team are very hard working honest mechanics. They chose to do the best work and reasonably good prices. Have taken 3 of my card here and they have fixed the issues whereas other mechanics would claim they did and same problem kept pooping up with different codes. My family also comes here and we’ll continue to be coming here for we’ve found an honest automotive fast and reliable shop.

Antonio and his team helped me with my issue quickly. Dropped truck off and 3 hours later it was ready to go. He even dropped me off at home. Great customer service.

I want to leave a review for SBJ Auto. Antonio is the owner and is awesome! He is honest and straight forward and very kind. He doesn't try to gauge you. He aims to fix only what truly needs to be fixed and doesn't try to add a bunch of bs. I have always had trouble with mechanics being a girl who doesn't know much about cars. Not only did Antonio fix my car issues both times I've been there, but he has such a big heart and even dropped me off and picked me up from my house while repairing my car in a timely manner. The other time he even lent me one of his own vehicles

Long overdue review! We were recommended here from a family member who had their transmission replaced when our 2003 Altima needed repair. Fast foreword 2 years later our 2004 Yukon XL also needed repairs. Tony is not only an honest and reliable mechanic, he takes the time to make sure our cars are running great and cares for his customers. He is fair with rates and explains everything that needs to be done and gets the best parts and warranties as well. Thank you Tony and staff!

If you drive a Mitsubishi, this is the place to take your car to. I chose this place because I was tired of going to expensive car service chains like Goodyear and Certified Tire. I had a problem with my car stalling at every stop light. Had to have my idle air control valve replaced (which was not cheap - $600 for parts and labor with a 3 year warranty) and my car now runs fine. What a relief, since my car is my bread and butter.
