Great place, great service. I've been through a few auto techs and I can say this is now my go to spot. Amer is a really knowledgeable guy and he is honest and upfront. Other places always try to upsell your on stuff your car doesn't even need but this place doesn't do that. My car was finished within a few hours at a great cost.

Amer at Euro Auto Tech was simply - TERRIFIC! I was seeking a used SAAB, and found one near Euro Auto Tech - sight unseen, I sent it to Amer for evaluation. Based on his recommendation and expertise, I bought the vehicle - then proceeded to leave the car with him for extensive repairs. Amer was communicative, very honest and trustworthy. I am 2000 miles from Euro Auto Tech and did this transaction 100% remotely. The car was shipped to me across the country. I brought the SAAB in to a local mechanic specialist to deal with some very minor (cosmetic) issues. I can confirm that not only can I vouch

If you go there ask for Eddy aka Amer he is the guy to make sure everything is right with your car. This guy is the best! Took my car in got my oil change, and my AC was fixed, Finally! After taking it to 4 different places, only this place knew what they were doing and it was a great experience. Also what I like is that they are opened on Saturdays, I work all week 5 days 8 hrs a day I don't have time to go, so i go on Saturday. I appreciate everything this shop has to offer.

This mechanic shop is my favorite! They get the job done on time. Prices are very reasonable. High Customer service friendly, and nice. Before they start on anything they ask the customer if its okay to touch a place in the car, and they tell you everything that is wrong with it. And if they find anything else with your car afterwards they will tell you ASAP. Very honest, they will never pressure you to do something, and if you cant afford the price they're asking they can help you out too. Thats what happened with me, got my car there wanted an oil change, they did it. Found some leaks and

I bought the Groupon for this place to get an oil change. I didn't even make it to the shop to get an oil change because I was refused serviceover the phone. I drive a Mitsubishi that is RECOMMENDED to have FULL SYNTHETIC oil, but NOT REQUIRED. These losers at this shop just try to get people to buy a Groupon and then upsell by telling lies that my car can't take anything other than what their fancy little computer says.
Don't trust this place! I get synthetic blend oil everywhere I go and my car runs like Usain Bolt!

I normally do not give 5 stars to any store easily. But this one earned it . I had my Toyota Corolla brakes to be changed and these guys did it professionally with a great attitude, And so I started regularly changing my engine oil and coolant at their workshop. these people know what they are doing and are very honest with their customers !

Hands down the best mechanic I have ever had. I met Mike the owner after going through a lot of bad things from other shops. From being lied to, to being ripped off. I told Mike what and been going on and he did not like what he heard. He told me to come in and he would try to help me. I had a turbo car and the turbo was not working. He quoted me a price to diagnose the problem. I was there for a couple hours while they diagnosed the problem. He was able to fix the car in that time. He charged me what he quoted me. Since then I have taken all my cars to him. He is honest and will give you options

Extremely knowledgeable, friendly, no BS. Had a wonderful experience here and will be back! Best place to take your car hands down! How many places can you go and get work done that make you feel welcome and actually care about your safety on the road? Look no further, this is the place to go! Thank you for turning a sucky issue on our VW and making it better!!! We will be back!

I took my 2012 Volvo XC60 R-design to Swedish Auto Tech for repair on April 29th 2016. I found the car to have low compression on the #2 cylinder and an engine Code for Misfire in the #2 cylinder. My car was at the shop for a few days for them to diagnose the problem. On May 3rd, the shop let me know that they also diagnosed the car to have low compression on the #2 cylinder. I was given a quote for $4,217 to rebuild the head or $7,500 for an engine replacement. I asked for their professional opinion and was told that rebuilding the head would be the best option, especially because of the price

Brought my Volvo here for repairs. Mike suggested that I should also replace the battery. That night, the "new" battery died on me. I had AAA roadside come and the battery couldn't even retain a charge. I got a new battery from them and took the old "new" battery back to Mike. He blamed the battery on someone else and tried to avoid giving me a refund. When he finally wrote me a check, he tried to refund me for just the cost of the battery without tax or the labor fee. In the end he still shorted me on the refund.

I had some issues with the cooling fan unit in my 2003 VW Jetta. Like most people, I looked through yelp to find an autoshop with a decent rating. I called Swedish AutoTech about an hour before closing time to see if they could take a look at my car. They happily accepted my untimely situation. They not only fixed the issue within 15 minutes, but they also pointed out some subpar transmission work that I received from a different shop that could've some safety issues in the future. I was very pleased with the service I recieved and I'd definitely reccommend this place!! Thanks Swedish

Very disappointed. Brought in my Saab based on other highly positive reviews, but problems remained unfixed and undiagnosed. Didn't make it back to the interstate before I noticed repairs weren't made correctly. 3 attempts later, the car still didn't work/handle correctly. After nearly $3k in repair work, old problems remained and they wanted more $ to fix a problem that wasn't there when I brought it in. Went somewhere else to get the repairs finished and new problems fixed and the car's been running like a champ ever since!

Had several somewhat major things I needed addressed with my '97 Volvo 850.
Brought into Swedish Auto, and Mike was very good about giving me an accurate estimate of the work needing to be done. He also explained what the problems were so that I understood them well.
All problems were fixed well and the car runs well now.
Will be returning for any future service needs!

This review is long overdue.
I am a new Swedish car enthusiast and if anybody knows owning an older Saab or Volvo is very enjoyable but pricey if things start to malfunction or need replacing... I have a 2000 Volvo S70 and I had gotten multiple codes for the variable valve timing.
Well those codes can mean that the solenoid is out, the timing hub is faulty, the position sensor is faulty or the ECU is faulty or everything in between. I have been racking my brain on this thing because each of those can get pretty pricey if I replace them all. I got a diagnosis from a place that said it might

I live in Venice and was driving to San Diego for the weekend when my 2004 Saab 9-3 convertible broke down. Mike and his team were great! Mike was honest and got my car fixed very fast. Needed a new clutch and engine mount. He ordered the parts and explained the cost of each item and the labor. Very friendly. Would definitely suggest using Swedish Auto Tech if you live in the San Diego area!!

Where do I begin? As soon as I walked , I was greeted with smile, respect and honor. Mike is an awesome guy. He helped me out and fixed my Mercedes e350
He even told me to shop around if I didn't believe his quote. He is a very honest guy and a great mechanic. He treated me and my car like we were the only customers on this planet. For a very reasonable price and amazing work. I was a happy camper.
Thank you Mike and Swedish Auto Tech, LLC!
Mike is my number 1 mechanic.

Mike was a real person, not just someone getting you through the ropes. I got my 90k complete at Swedish Autotech and my 2005 Saab converti is running like a hoot. (Yes, I agree, what a fun car to have in SD!) Mike took the time to talk to me about the condition of my car. He told me how to take care of certain things and reminded me not to keep my coffee anywhere near my center console ignition key. (Hmm, makes sense).

First of all I'm surprised I'm the first one leaving a review for Swedish Auto tech. Anyways, I was quoted $800 at the stealership and was like "da hell with that". So I did my research and I'm very skeptical on mechanic I want fixing my car, since it was my first SAAB and I decided to find the SAAB specialist and picked one with allot of experience. The first time I contacted Mike, my car was making all kinds of noise coming from the engine compartment. It took him less then 5 minutes by just listening to the car as if the car spoke to him to diagnose the problem and less
